Well we're all entitled to our opinion.

Banger racing is top motorsport - should be televised more. Has everything TV entertainment needs - thrills, spills, excitement, controversy - and more overtaking and crunches than a whole season of F1.

Banger racing is on men and motors every now and then, but its got some annoying woman who has a go and thinks being spun out is a massive wreck and its would be hard to get the car out again lol.
touring cars might give it a run for its money with the crashes:rolleyes::woot:

if i wanted knocking about that much i would just walk into a bar, pick the biggest bruiser in there and stamp on his foot,

what if he's one of those gentle giants, then you would just feel really giulty:p

Please don't ever compare BANGER racing to F1 again - That is just an insult to every single engineer and intelligent person working in that industry.

I was up past that track the other day when that was on, I noticed a large amount of caravans in the car park.

If everyone is entitled to there own opinion then im going to say that my opin ion is your post is abit out of order, weve already had thiss argument before where banger drivers are pikeys with no real proof behind the theory so lets not go down tha road again:yawn:

I think savagewhatever is right, there is no evidence that banger racers are pikeys, they are just dirty rough arses who race knackered cars round a field/track, however the one and only time i went to see them race the winner sold his car at the end for a caravan and 3 dags for his ma :lol:

Surprisingly there is proper racing with laps and rules then at the end of the day the last race is a demolition derby which is last car standing.

I never compared the technical aspect of the 2 branches of the sport - just the spectacle that they provide to their respective supporters.

In real banger racing it mostly depends on what tracks you got too, if you were to go too wimbledon,eastbourne or ipswich (all run by spedeworth) its a very good atmosphere, in my opinion its mostly the tracks that arnt that well known that give the sport a bad name:yawn:.
