Vintage chargers
Hi all,
Just found a very old nico charger with the clockwork dial on the front... Is this likely to be worth anything to anyone or one for the bin?! Cheers |
I'll take that as a no then:)

Oh thats the posh one , mine didnt have the digital display .
It cost me around 63 pounds back in 1991. |

They really don't have much usefulness at all. Except perhaps for a boat anchor or something if you have an AC/DC one with a one-ton transformer... |
Ive still got my tekomo pro slope plus! Was still using it 2 seasons ago. Still just as good as any other charger!

Old chargers? In my loft I have a Schumacher C20, a KO 212 with Triplex module and an M-Troniks Apc350 (mains + 12v)
None of them probably worth a toss nowadays. That's progress.;) |

I have two of them up in the loft, first and second revision of the model with the digital display. The second revision had a completely flat front panel, no step on to the top for the display. Havent looked at them sine the nicad days but i'm sure they had adjustable peak detect?
|
I got a Pro Slope too...will it work with NiMHs, anyone? I heard conflicting things...
I love that charger  |
still use a pro slope, it may be old but if you have a problem pack the adjustable peak cut off point sure is useful!! seems to work just fine with nimh, albeit gp 3300's which are basically bulletproof anyway.
|
Interesting, thanks mate...might be that I just have to try it and see what happens. Probably on a dodgy old pack first, to be safe...
