2009 EPR SE GP
Welcome along to the EPR 2009 GP.
Having spoken to our landlords on Tuesday, can confirm that the EPR SE GP has now been scheduled for Sunday 22 March 2009! Further details will become available leading up to the event but as Matt has confirmed previously we will be accommodating the following classes: 2WD 4WD Stock* 4WD Modified Truck* * On the proviso that we get enough entrants to build at least one heat. Can I also take this opportunity to point out to Newbie & Junior trophy winners from the recently completed Winter Warmer series 08/09, these trophies will be presented at the EPR SE GP so please make every effort to come along. And yes we do appreciate that it's Mother Day that day  but all attendees will be most welcome! Watch this space for further announcements! Come along and get some track time at the World's best all weather track and also get some preparation for the National later this year or South East regionlas!!! Not confirmed yet but I am hoping to hold a raffle to raise money for our new timing system, no prises confirmed yet but I still want your money!!! |
The weather is looking super-duper!!! This will be a good weekends racing!!!
|
what is the plan for sunday track opening times first race ect format.
stu rand |
After having a test of 7 minute finals at our last winter meeting, this will be our plan for Sunday.
Gates open at 8am. Booking in and practice from 8.30am. Heat one on the line at 10am. Four rounds of qualifyng and a final for all. We have yet to see if the demand for trucks is great enough but just would like six or seven for a heat. The same applies to 4WD stock. I am trying to get some items together for the raffle although Tony Evdoka was offered as a prize, he is very old and second hand... If anyone has any more questions, please ask! |
Track opens early, 8am or so, to start practise, can arrive from about 7.
Mass line starts, 4 qualifing, 1 final, usually, and we even had 7 min finals at the last meeting, very cool!!! You can practise between rounds as well. |
cool see you guys there.

MK Racing trackside on Sunday
MK Racing will be present (thanks to Tony Evdoka) on Sunday with wheels, tyres and inserts. If you require anything else, give Marc a call to make sure its on baord before the weekend so that it can be brought with Tony.
Thanks to both Marc for their continued support as our club's approved retailer at major race meetings. |

info
hi i have never raced at the track before can you advise what tyre to use ?
What are the costs for the day? does it matter if im not a member or any club or the BRCA? thanks rob |
It will be Schumacher Green Mini Spikes if its damp or wet but looking at teh weather, it will be Yellows all day! If you have a set of Yellow Stagger Ribs, you can run these on the front in the dry to make the car easier to drive.
Entry fees will be £7 per class or two for £10. Its not a problem about being a non-member for this meeting. HTH |
Hey!! What's going on??!!!
Why am I being raffled??? What has one done wrong??!! You lot are so bloody funny - he he he - you will get NOTHING for your raffle if i'm the price - he he he :) See you Sunday lads and let Marc know if there is anything you need bringing to the meeting:thumbsup: ps - And less of the 'very old' - I would rather hear the words Experienced !!!! |

Anyone wishing to join the club can do so for the year this Sunday as we will have forms and information with us - membership runs until 31 December 2009. Benefits include free use of the track during the year for practice and reduced race entry fees. |
I could bring my cheque book, it will bounce though. It's been an expensive month, the mrs tooth broke costing a cool £500 quid :o
|
About 10-ish start, but I will be there far earlier. You can pit with me, but you will have to deal with Springer and Upton, they are coming along. The gennie has plenty of power so you can jump on that.
OH AND REMEMBER YOU LOT.... THERE IS A RAFFLE, I WANT YOUR MONEY FOR A NEW TIMING SYSTEM, ......BUT......NOT SURE OF THE PRIZES YET!! |

From earlier post:
'Can I also take this opportunity to point out to Newbie & Junior trophy winners from the recently completed Winter Warmer series 08/09, these trophies will be presented at the EPR SE GP so please make every effort to come along.' All the trophies have now arrived (thanks to Tiny Tom) so a presentation will take place at tomorrows EPR SE GP. Don't worry if you're due a trophy but can't make tomorrows meeting, we'll save it for you! See you all tomorrow, pennies for the raffle please! |
