Tlr 22 4.0 carbon tub chassis
2 Attachment(s)
Here is my newest project.
No sideguard will be used. Aprox 60gr lighter. Softer than aluminium chassis. Maybe the first kickup carbon chassis for this car.. Jerzi |

Now the rear and frontends are attached to the chassis.

Looks very nice, any idea how much difference in stiffness there is compared to alloy?
|
Much more flex.
About 60gr lighter also. Jerzi |

Looks good. What benefit does it give over the standard chassis?
|
Well, atleast it is not so stiff as the aluminium chassis and it is lighter..
Jerzi |
What does less stiffness do? I see people add weight to under lipos and servos etc so interested to know what this does from a racing perspective
|
Do you have this car??
Many pro guys tryes to make the original chassis/construction softer because it is too stiff. Softer chassis create more bites on slippery tracks. Jerzi |
I have the 22 3.0
Sounds cool |

Holyshit how easy it was to drive. Noting broke, just pure fun....
And it was the first time i drive this car.... Jerzi |
very nice

Looks a very professional piece of work...well done..👏
|
Really nice quality work, well done.
One thing I like with the heavier alloy chassis, especially with low wind brushless motors, is how planted the car feels. I've had my 22 4.0 for about six months and I love it. |
Its so easy to put weight in there and were you want...

You don’t need any spares. Not broken a thing on mine in over a year. Wear rate is excellent. Only reason there’s not much support is because people haven’t bought the cars.
Shops will only support the brand if customers buy it. If you have spares for the 3.0,lots will fit the new car. |
