EPR SE GP

Nothing definite yet, just trying to get a feel for potential interest!

We've been thinking of running a one-off Open meeting for both 2 and 4WD electric classes (and possibly 1:10 electric trucks if there's enough for at least one heat!) on SUNDAY 22 MARCH 2009.

Would like drivers to show an interest before we commit ourselves to organising this event.
Start posting..........NOW!

Any ideas how we could make it a little different would also be welcomed, e.g. 7 minute Finals?

savageman25 18-02-2009 12:07 AM

Im up for it....... obviously:thumbsup::thumbsup:
If there's enough people there, and this idea isnt just stupid, what about somthing like a team race sort of thing, like 3 a team or however it would be devided up.:confused:

David Church 18-02-2009 06:48 AM

This is a great chance to get more track time at EPR. Most winte series will be finished and most regional series will have not started yet.
Also very good for EPR as we are still raising money for a timing system!!!!!

trekkerkk 18-02-2009 06:49 AM

ill be there:thumbsup:

niggs98 18-02-2009 09:27 AM

spenner 18-02-2009 02:23 PM

I am interested as long as it doesn't clash with anything i have already planned to do!!

What about.... Club championship along side it ?????

It could be the UK Club Championships... people race for there club or adopt a club on the day..

I will think of some other ideas......mmmmmmmm

tiny tom 18-02-2009 02:46 PM

I will be there, you never know the other half might come out and race? So watch out:thumbsup:

discostu 18-02-2009 04:56 PM

me and neil should be there.

MotoRev 18-02-2009 05:43 PM

cwilson 18-02-2009 05:58 PM

MHeadling 18-02-2009 07:23 PM

Damn! Well sort of, I have got my first road race on my TZR 250 at Snett that weekend! rc will be much cheaper and safer but cant miss the first race of the season! Have a good one guys!

Got next sunday to look forward to with the winter series!

HKP 18-02-2009 09:53 PM

90% sure I can make it..

ideas - Slash race!!!!!! Or an endurance/tag team race?

simoncook 18-02-2009 11:29 PM

I can make this date too. Sounds great :)

So sort of team event though sounds interesting. Teams of three or something, with combined points are the winners? Not really thought it out past that, but could be good for an experiment.

7 min finals could be interesting too. I quite like that.

trekkerkk 19-02-2009 06:48 AM

personally,
i like the idea off 7 min finals,
not so sure about a team race,

trekkker

Guy 19-02-2009 12:32 PM

The 22nd sounds like a great idea - I would definitely be up for it, both 4wd and Truck (the truck has never been raced, so would be great to give it a go).

I also like the idea of longer finals.

Hope this goes ahead.

In the meantime, I hope to be there on 1 March 2009, after a long break due to car illness.

Guy.

cwilson 19-02-2009 12:32 PM

how about this. we change the track layout every two rounds. and reverse the direction every round.

ryan 19-02-2009 12:43 PM

Sounds like a date i can make, should be there!

Thats sounds like it could be a pain in the arse if we have to move the trackers lots. - Could be interesting though.

It's official designation is "heap". I may allow it though...

Hairy Spider 22-02-2009 07:19 PM

We pushed the EPR meeting at Faversham today during the drivers briefing and there was quite a bit of interest right up until somebody pointed out it was on Mother's day... :o
