Just don't tell prince Harry!!

Funny, this once happened to me. I was having a clear out of the wallet and put my credit card in front of the computer (as I wanted to order something). Got called into the kitchen....came back, it wasn't there.
We were looking for it for 3 days, was on the verge of reporting it stolen, and it just appeared one day in the exact same place that I left it.

It hadn't slid under anything, as we had the whole computer table stripped and moved everything off of it whilst looking for it.

*Cue X-files theme music*

it is a known fact, that there are variants on the sock monseter, the little evil monster that lays in wait, under your bed, to pinch one of your better socks, they have bread, some are like magpies, and take shinny things, others are more random in their thefts..... but they all digest what they steal, and then excrete them out at a later date, in a random place.....

other than that, put things away you lazy buggers....

savageman25 12-01-2009 10:24 PM

I do put my stuff away............when i want to.
This sock monster thing better watch out, im gonna put up cctv round my house 24/7 with movement sensors half a foot off the floor all round the house, with intruder alarms round the house and to top it off a cudly toy as an ambush trap.

telboy 12-01-2009 10:37 PM

I wouldn't want to be the sock monster that eats my socks!:woot::p

Ghostly gett stole me shock tower

I was in the kitchen making some toasty.
My attention was drawn to a thieving ghosty.

When i returned to the lounge to eat my snack,
I realized the little fe**er had been back.

Ghostly gettt from me had stolen,
When i catch him his nose will be swollen.

All i want is my shock tower back
Before i really blow my stack.

Clearly i am bored and must get out more.:bored:

B4 Sloth 15-01-2009 09:35 PM

The only thing that i can immediately think that rhymes are awning and yawning.

and dawning.
and spawning
and pawning.

:p

lochness42 15-01-2009 10:53 PM

We definitely need monster that doesn't eat socks, but useless threads :D

savageman25 16-01-2009 08:32 PM

Yep, this thread needs to end.

lochness42 16-01-2009 09:46 PM

Well, we need to force you to eat your socks you have currently on your feet (we will also prove that it doesn't have to be monster to eat socks ). Then threads like this won't appear anymore :D

And if it turns out as not true then I'm really sorry
