Our go at a lipo X6
Our go at a lipo x6...
Here are some pics of our attempt at a lipo x6 we filled the front battery slots with some apoxy putty up to the little brace bit and then filled the rear battery slots but still allowing room for lead. We also filled the spare screw holes for the 3 gear box and put screws to hold the wing instead of the clips. And finally sprayed his shell which is still drying. here are some pics..... http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/1951/dscf0867vw1.jpg http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/d...jpg/1/w800.png http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/5262/dscf0871ed5.jpg http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/d...jpg/1/w800.png Ashley and Jono |

Looks good!
I'd move the rear camber link out though, ideally the E Speed hangers of course ;) Is that a receiver pack??? |

Locating the spring is the only thing, you have to drill out either the small spring locator washer or the big load distributing spring locator thing. Defo need the short silver Hydra spring though.

You dont need to sand the bottom of the chassis, just put duc-tape on the bottom. Flip the chassis and fill the slots, and let it dry overnight.
if you desire you can push in lead inserts into the epoxy while it is drying. I use the sheet lead they use to seal roofs. when cut to size there about 18g. per slot (see 3rd pic). I have 4 of those, and got a 40g plate under the ESC btw, I like you paint. Looks just like mine :D |

I havent had much run time with the car yet i dont see why the b4 slipper wouldnt be up to the job
|
Do the RW spurs fit straight onto the B4 slipper? What sizes do they come in?
Still waiting for the AE 72/75 spurs to be available so these might be an option. Cheers, Scotty P. |
