The meeting is being run instead of our club night as we usually race on a thursday night but as it was christmas day we decided it was a good time for a sunday meeting so we just posted it on here instead of the website if you have any questions pm me or neil. :)

Has anyone got any pictures of the indoor track?

Is it big enough for fast brushless, or would we best be suited to brushed motors here?

Pictures would be great.

neiloliver 27-12-2008 12:02 PM

I dont have any pictures of the indoor drack to hand but the track is not that large, people with slower motors tend to do best, traction is your best friend. My B44 with a 5.5 is undriveable indoor so I use by B4 with a 11x2 and do far better.

most of us run 10.5 brushless systems indoor

IceMike 27-12-2008 12:24 PM

ill be runnin S44 wit a 6.5 in it :p maybe drop down to a 7.5

Fiddybux 27-12-2008 12:52 PM

Well I guess the 3.5 is out then! :)

Brushed it is.

IceMike 27-12-2008 01:00 PM

yer we do notamlly recoment a 19 turn or 10.5 brushless so taht we are all roughly the same speed and its down to skill then. but its wot you have

danDanEFC 27-12-2008 03:02 PM

I will tell the boys about the slower motors but us southporters feel that a bit of extra power makes up for lack of ability, so 6.5's all round!

I will bring lots of spare front arms

IceMike 27-12-2008 03:25 PM

haha but if you have a smaller motor you will be more consistant. an thats wot matters haha an the track is very forgiving :p as long as u dont hit out little part :p cos i ripped half the car off the other week on it

neiloliver 27-12-2008 03:55 PM

Mike and I were talking earlier and we will be down at the track from around 9am to start setting things up. Neil

jono83 27-12-2008 04:08 PM

I will be there then aswell

danDanEFC 29-12-2008 12:10 AM

Thanks from all the Southporters who enjoyed the meeting today.

jono83 29-12-2008 12:21 AM
