My RC10
5 Attachment(s)
Well its been ongoing for a while and cost me a small fortune to do but as I did get the opportunity to race Masami I really wanted something to remind me. Its also been hard to do as no real chassis pictures exist so unsure exactly how he did his but using Brian Kinwald, Cliff Letts and other team drivers chassis pictures came up with this.
So minus the shell, undertray, wing, wing buttons, cut down TH1 wheel hubs (being made), ko fet choke wiring and pinion it will be when finished an pretty close replica. Motor was made and worked on at a tc national in the USA by Mike Reedy and would gather it made the A so adds a bit more class to this, esc has been supplied by a previous national winner, servo was sold by Kevin Moore on to someone im aquainted with so cars got a bit more history added. KO receiver with a handmade case. Hope you like what you see. |
Very nice!
|
Looking good James. You need the little Masami sticker on the front tower, and how close a replica are you creating are you going to break the top deck?

Just managed to buy a ko285a receiver so now have the correct one for this. Typical after getting it turns out the one ive got is possibly what he used so have this for maybe another project, also got my hands on brand new in packet copper coloured wing buttons so only one more item to get and its done completely, a replica using real parts other than the 3d items.

Its a hard one, cost me more to get the bits but would let it go for £800 in the UK, obviously with all the electrics
