Benfield Winter Series Round 5 & 6- dates.
Ladies and gents
The club would like to invite you to book in, attend and support round 3 of the series, juniors and senior drivers will run both 2wd and 4wd class. (Please note drivers who have attended previous rounds will have priority in bookings in) The meetings will be held at: Benfield Sports Centre Benfield Road Walkergate Newcastle uponTyne NE6 4NU The dates are as follows: Round 5 - February Sunday 22nd 2015 ( date change from the 15th) Round 6- and the final round Sunday March 15thThere will be trophies for the winner of each class and a special price for the under 16 class. (The future of the sport) at the end of the series. Fee - £8.00 per class. Or £15.00 for both classes per round U16 - £5.00 per class. Or £8.00 for both classes per round. The club would like to encourage you to book in, in advance by PM K-Brewer or email [email protected] confirming the round / date you would like to attend. Please note: Revised Opening / Booking in / Practice / Start times Doors will open at 7.00 am. Booking in Practice will be 7.15-7.45 am followed by drivers' briefing 7.50 We aim to have heats on the line at 8.00 am with the intention of finishing the meeting no later than 4 pm. Please note: The trophies and prizes presentation will be at the end of the Series, once the track has been cleared, and drivers will need to be present to claim any prizes. payments can be made on the day, Cancelations: Due to the number of no shows from the last round. we respectfully ask you to give at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the event to allow me time offer any vacancies to people who wish to attend. And amend the heat listing for a quicker start to the day. payments can be made on the day. TRACK PREPARATION IS ON SATURDAY 4PM –6pm VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO HELP LAY OUT THE TRACK AND PUT AWAY AFTER MEETING. Hot and cold food is available. After having an afternoon to myself I have looked through all previous rounds and forecasted the average results, with a few of the current top seeded drivers opting to attend worksop, the series is all to drive for. With higher points available giving some of the mid tabled drivers, the chance to fight it out for a possible series win, it is really all to drive for. Lol The club would like to invite you to book in and confirm your attendance. Please find the current booked and confirmed driver listing below if your name is not on the listing and you have booked in or would like to book in please contact me asap. Or if you have booked in and are unable to make it please contact me to allow me to update the entries. Opening / Booking in / Practice / Start times Doors will open at 7.00 am. Really sorry but I can't make this now. A family members planned OP at the Freeman has been postponed (the reason for my trip up) so I won't be in the area this weekend and have to withdraw.
