Benfield Winter series 2014-2015
 

Lady's and Gents

Due to the outstanding success of Benfield's first winter series 2013-2014,

which brought together Local drivers, drivers from as far as Scotland and south Yorkshire, and gave new young driver's ( the super stars of the future) and driver's returning to the sport the opportunity to get involved and really enjoy and experience a local club level competition.

we have Been asked if we are running another series this year.


The club is looking to gauge interest from driver to see what interest there is again this year to run anther winter series, starting in October through to February.

Please contact us and let us know if you would like to support the series,
if there is enough interest we can start the negotiations on the hall and checking / confirming the dates.

Charlie and Oliver 2wd juniors please. Looking forward to a second series...

Id love to get along and race. Currently racing 4wd at Tyne Met, but struggle with certain days. Any ideas what day it will be held on?

Going by last year I would say all days will be on sunday but as to what weekends that will fall on is still TBA.

Im available all weekends and am looking forward to it.

Very interested in this. Only managed to get to the last round last year as I had only just got back into racing. Hopefully they won't land on the Sundays I have to work night shift

Think I would b interested in doing it this year

I am going to meet with the Centre tomorrow to negotiate the dates to should be able to post them tomorrow night.

However learning from last year we will require 40 - 50+ driver to cover costs

Myself and my Dad would come down from Edinburgh for this.

We will be there with the shop and between 6 and 10 entrants for each round. :thumbsup:

And if it's the same format and schedule as last year - once a month, and Sundays, I'll be there again.

Fitted just nicely into my hectic social calendar...

Looking at those dates Paul I can only make the 1st and last unless I can get holidays at work 😭😭😭😭😭

John and Archie Bowman will be there for as many as we can! both 2wd.

Can I also add to those that are interested we are looking to upgrade the rostrum and make it longer either by extending or replacing the whole thing, this will make it much more comfortable for everyone :wub

There seems to be a little controversy going on about winter series, in 1/10 north east heading, there on about doing a north east winter series and having a round at all the different NE clubs !!!!!, any idea what's going on or is Benfield sticking with it's own series:blush:

Just to let you know we will be at every round with the Moss Models shop.

Only 3 weeks to go until round one of our Winter Series, places are still available in all classes so make sure you get booked in if you haven't already,
Benfields second annual winter series Supported and sponsored by Benfield Sports centre, Moss models

The club would like to invite you to book in, attend and support the series, We intend to run a 5 round series both 2wd and 4wd, which is open to all drivers of any age or ability without discrimination, there will be trophies and prizes for the winner of each final and a special price for the under 16 class. ( The future of the sport ). With a full presentation at the end of the series.

Fee - £8.00 per class. Or £15.00 for both classes per round
