Fuji GP
That was pretty stressful!!
At least it showed the guys out there wearing their hearts on their sleaves.. But Massa did quite a few naughty things out there |

And whats that penalty all about for Bourdais, 25 secs to give Massa 7th  How many Ferrari guys are in the stewards circle!!!!!! Thought Brundle said if anything Massa might get a penalty for using the pit lane exit to overtake!!!!

That is f**king Bullshizzle!
Really glad I got up early to watch that farce! NOT Where's the wankers smilie? G EDIT, and wtf was Lewis's drive through for? It's the first corner, shit happens..... |
Unbelievable! How the hell did massa not get the penalty? This years pro ferrari decisions are really turning me away from the sport
|
lewis penalty was a load of c##p yes he pushed riakkonen wide at the first corner, but it was kovalinen that ran them out onto the grass.
and the bourdais move, where was sebastian supposed to go? it was for position afterall. if massa was so much quicker than him he could have done the move after the corner. |
ferrari have the fia in there pocket
|
just watched the race. It's all bullshit. Hamilton did nothing wrong to deserve a penalty and just to make everything better Bourdais gets a penalty for an incident which was Massa's fault!
hats off to hamilton for what he said in his interview at the end "...we both got the same penalty but I didn't hit anyone" just shows how wrong those penalties were. |
I disagree in part.
Hamiltons drive through is fair as if Raikkonen had not driven off track to avoid him he would have taken him out. However; Kovaleinen (sp) did the same thing, followed through ahd HIT Railkkonen = no penalty Massa's penalty should be much more harsh 25second penalty of Bourdais is rediculous. Hamilton drove poorly and poor decision making but in interview afterward conducted himself with more dignity than any other driver I've ever heard. Very much like myself..................................... ;) |

I will be racing a Tamiya Ferrari F1 car for the remaining rounds of the Worksop off road series so the rest of you needn't bother to turn up now .

If we changed the names to any of those in a B Final, and add the names of your favourite (!) referee and the BRCA, can anyone spot the difference between an over-eager set of youngsters high on adrenaline driving over-powered, tricky to control cars, and the Fuji GP?
Doesn't this smell a little of double standards? Despite everything you see and hear from every sport, school, business and Government showing how incompetent management is these days (look only as far as the Banks!) you seem to think there is a higher standard applied to F1? Why apply a higher standard to F1 than you would to your job, or an Off-Road race? I'm just asking... There is a saying in F1 - when Ferrari does well, F1 does well. It's been the same since the 1970s when the FIA got really involved, and a man called Jean-Marie Ballestre ran the FIA. It still makes me laugh that Mosely replaced him because he said Ballestre was too much in Ferrari's pocket... It'll go to the wire, and unless Hamilton gets to realise in the next week that he can't win every race, and he certainly can't win any race at the first corner (or second lap) he'll come away empty-handed. My view is that he created the situation that caused the trip through the pits, and until he stops doing that, the trophy cabinet will remain bare. (When's Worksop - I might come and watch!! :D) |
Worksop is on next sunday the 19th, see the worksop thread on here for more info and on the entries, got lots of really good drivers attending the next event so should be lots of overtaking, maybe similiar to F1 :p

I'm getting right fed up with it all. They might as well draw the possitions out of a bag....but have a separate bag for ferrari and leave that one for the top 2 positions.
Hamiltons penalty was a load of crap. If Raikonen had not moved towards hamilton going into the first corner, he would have made it round. But he swerved towards him on the run down, to protect his position, leaving him too close to manouvre. He would have made the turn, if it wasn't for Koveleinen pushing him off. So why give Hamilton a penalty? Rediculous. Massa should have had a 10s stop go. there was no way on this earth that both incidents warranted the same penalty. And that peanlty for Bourdaise...well.... I like what he said in the interview though... Louise- What more could you have done to let massa past? Bourdaise- Well I could have rolled out a red carpet, and said, 'There you go!':woot: Im' sure that Ferrari have people inside the FIA. And just to top it off. Jean Todt is looking more likely to become part of the FIA....GREAT! another ex ferrari employee in there. Everyone else may as well pack up and go home, and turn it into a ferrari one make series. |
Totally agree with you Tel.. utter CRAP!!
I've never screamed at the Telly as much as I did Sunday  |
did anyone else spot the camera pan to the ferrari pit men just after Massa hit Hami ...:thumbdown:
|
Yeah Wraggy, i was well pissed off to see them cheering, i thought that was well out of order
|
That's possibly the least sporting thing I have ever seen in F1, that guy deserves a reet shoein'
|
Hmm, I've not shouted like that for a long time. lol
Luckily I was the only one in the house. The neighbours muast have wondered what was going on with me shouting at the telly at an unearthly hour! Admitedly, Hamilton cocked up with that move, but he didn't hit anything. I mean, it happens at most races, someone outbreaks themself and ends up either collecting someone, or forcing them out wide. but nowt has been done before. it'll come to a point where all the drivers are scared to pull any moves. What would be an intresting situation at this stage in the championship,is to see the FIA's reaction if Hamilton was to tell them to 'Shuv it!' and say he was retiring with imediate effect due to all the stupid penalties being forced onto the team and him. Yes it'd probably make him look a bit mardy, but the impact would be huge. I know it'd never happen, but it'd be intresting, especially with his popularity worldwide and the viewing figures that he brings to the sport. Someone said at worksop (can't remember who) that the FIA would never let hamilton win a championship due to his colour, and I thought that they would never go that far.....but now, I'm starting to wonder!:( |
beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!
