Not so long ago, in West Bridgford…

It is a period of RC class wars. Off road
buggies, striking from a hidden
rostrum, have won their first victory
against the evil touring cars.

During the battle, off road spies managed
to steal secret plans to the tourer's
ultimate weapon, TARMAC! A
surface that bores buggies and
scratches their chassis upon landing.

Pursued by the tourer's sinister agents,
Dave Dodd races home aboard his
Multipla, custodian of the stolen plans
that can save his beloved buggy drivers
and restore freedom to the club...

Doors open at 6pm.

Can all attending teams please help with setting up the track, as this means you may get some practice time :D

Thanks and see you all Friday.. :)

Absolutely brilliant nights racing last night, a huge thanks to all the teams for making our first off road endurance great..:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Closely fought to the end, it was so close as who would take the win between Team Mansfield and Team Serpent but it was decided mechanically about 25mins before the end, team Serpent's idler gear gave up. this then made the other teams up the pace to see if we could close the gap in the time we had and im glad to say we did. :D

results:
Team Mansfield 501 laps ave lap 17.27
Team yeah yeah yeah 432 laps ave lap 20.00
Team Xray 426 laps ave lap 20.31
Only fools and a Buggy 399 laps ave lap 21.70 ( Team Dave ;) )
Team Serpent 389 laps ave lap 18.00
Team Clubman 25 laps ave lap 57.51

this has proved that the 2 tire rule works :) but you can do it on 1 set, as proved by only fools and a buggy  :p

huge thanks to everyone with setting up and packing away, greatly appreciated..

john333 03-05-2014 10:23 AM

Really enjoyed it last night, well organised and will deffo do it next time.

Just one thing though......team Mansfield were always going to win, we were just toying with serpent to make them drive flat out and break their car lol

Our xray xb4 2wd performed faultlessly all night and has no wear on the drivetrain whatsoever and the dualsky electronics and lipos didn't so much as break a sweat and never went above 50 degree's.

Thanks Dave, great nights racing :thumbsup:

Please explain...?

Even with 3 wheels they should have managed at least 30 laps... :woot:
