Help needed this Saturday and Sunday!
 

We need help with the track this weekend, work parties will be down on both Saturday and Sunday so if you could spare some time on either or both these days it would be much appreciated, remember this track is for you and the sooner it's completed the sooner we can get racing on it.
Work starts at 9:00 am on Saturday and you'll need gloves and scruffy clothes as you may get a bit dirty.

Working Saturday, but I can get there from around mid-day Sunday. If none of the "organisers" will be there Sunday afternoon, indicate what you want doing.

A Big thankyou to Critch, longman,millsy,leon,Eddie and Luke for helping at the track today.
Done a great job of clearing track ready for bonding.

What we need now is people with plumbers blow torch for glueing track together.
People who can use cement and trowel for table top jump walls.
People who can use a brush to brush sand into astro.
People to fill track hose.

glad the tracks progressing i will be down to help again soon
i should be able to finish the blockwork in a day ( maybe with a little help labouring )

Bury Members

Last weekends attendance at the track was shameful, to say that only 1 member turned up on the Saturday and a handful on the Sunday was not a very good good show, the committee cant be expected to do all this work themselves but we would like to say thanks for those that made the effort.

We need a final push this weekend, both Saturday and Sunday we need as many members as we can to get the following jobs completed:-

Flatten out any obvious bumps
Seal Astro joins
Lay remaining 10% of astro
Move 1 tonne of stone around the race control and bottom of stairs.
Fill hose reel with more stone.
Build starting platform at bottom right of track, using old wooden jumps.
Complete brick wall's
Paint wall's
Put down 2 tonne of sand on new astro and old joints
Make a few remaining cuts to the astro.
Final tidy of the track and surroundings
Clean out storage cabin
Clean out race control

We will need the following tools to help if you have them, can you let me know?? :-
Wheel barrows (2 off)
Spades

Please, Please do not be silent, we need you to reply and advise if you can come, which day and for how long.

Will do my best to come down on Saturday, can't commit to a time or for how long. Will depend on weather too as I have the boy on Saturday

I'll be there Saturday afternoon and maybe Sunday too.

ive got permission for a few hours this sataday so i should be able to finish the blockwork an the cement should of cured enough to paint next week

What time Johnny? I'll be down in the morning with the stihl doing the last few cuts. So it would be better for you if you could make it in the morning as that's the last time we'll have the stihl saw

not sure on time but it will be sataday morning grinder will be handy to start the cut on the last few blocks

Can't come in this weather, on the bike and I'm already soaked. Fingers crossed for better weather tomorrow.

No track work tomorrow (Sunday), only the committee members and one non member turned up.

More to do next Saturday, don't think the track will be ready for the first meeting back now :-(
