Benfield Winter series Round 4 Febuary Sunday 23th 2014
 

Only 2 weeks to go until round Four of our Winter Series, Benfields First annual winter series in partnership with Dynamix Raceway. Supported and sponsored by Benfield Sports centre, Moss models, and Animal Tracks

The club would like to invite you to book in, attend and support the series, We intend to run a 5 round series both 2wd and 4wd, which is open to all drivers of any age or ability without discrimination, there will be trophies and prizes for the winner of each final and a special price for the under 16 class. ( The future of the sport ). With a full presentation at the end of the series.

The meetings will be held at:
Benfield Sports Centre
Benfield Road
Walkergate
Newcastle uponTyne NE6 4NU

The dates are as follows:
Round 4 - February Sunday 23rd 2014
Round 5 – March 23rd 2014

Fee - £8.00 per class. Or £15.00 for both classes per round
U16 - £5.00 per class. Or £8.00 for both classes per round.
The club would like to encourage you to book in. in advance by PM K-Brewer or email [email protected] confirming you would like to attend

Doors will open at 7.00 am. Booking in Practice will be 7.30 am to 7.45 am followed by drivers' briefing We aim to have heats on the line at 8.00 am Prompt with the intention of finishing the meeting no later than 4 pm.

Please note: Due to the exceptional interest in this series drivers who have attended previous rounds will be given priority entry's as we will run with a max of 9 heats due to time restraints.

Please find the current provisional booked drivers and classes listing May we ask you to check the listing and advise if your name or class is incorrect to allow us to amend the listing and keep the booking in process as easy as possible and ensure we start on time.

I for one thought the track was way better and grip lvls were also better

for me it was a good day, it would of been great if my speedo didnt decide to burn out right before the final but i guess thats just the way it goes :bored:

Fantastic day's racing!

Track looked tight at first glance, but actually flowed nicely when driven with some nice humps and jumps too.

Good close and fair racing in the finals too.

Can't wait until the next round, shame it will be the fianl one of the series as they've been such good fun.

Perfect day, not a thing went wrong, everything ran smooth and the track was great.

Thanks for a great days racing. Very happy with making the A final in 4WD and think the 2WD might have squeaked in if there was another round of qualifying or it was FTQ. I grabbed a quick iPhone vid of the 2WD A final (no zoom!)

I would Just like to say what a great days racing even though I did roll my car on the last laps and come 2nd to Chris Patterson ( as shown on you tube ) we had some close racing all day.
It was An awesome day ,keep up the good work Paul and crew especially mrs Paul for the catering, the table service was second to non , every club should have one.

Without doubt one of the best tracks I have raced on. Loved it!

Hi guys. Thanks to the organisers, another great day. Really appreciate the improvements to the track. The heat brought out the grip and the layout was more flowing. There was some great racing through the field ... With DR and Charlie showing some great pace. Well done to Paul Jones in 4wd, great final drive, same goes for Trev, though obviously I couldn't watch your final, but your cars looked great all day.
Thanks to Jason for the qualifying and final racing. Really enjoyed it, a pity you rolled it on the last lap. ... And a pity you ran a duff shock in 4wd ... You're too busy helping everyone else!
