Insideline Racing
Speak to Kev Lee has all the parts ready to go
Told you they were good!! |
Kev knows all the individual part numbers needed. Next month you can buy as a set. UMW604
Yeah it did look good Jamie. I know all the parts needed, http://www.petitrc.com/setup/kyosho/.../RB6_GearDiff/ But some parts are showing out of stock on their website. Think il wait for the full kit then. Thanks
Looks like plastic gears in the kit:cry:
We normally have good stock of the gear diff parts but they've been very popular after Tebo won the worlds with a gear diff!
We should have a restock of all the parts soon along with the new full kit. Cheers Kev |

Have a look here (link), this may help.

What oils are being used with the gear diff? Is anything else needed for installation other than the full gear diff?
just that paul and use kyosho 5000 diif grease like I have for sale not oil or it will shed its load
How do you guys make the gear diff to run smooth like the ball diff?
I have one for quite some time now but can't seem to make it run smooth...do you use any spacers behind the gears or outside between the outdrives and case? |

Mine ran smooth. DOnt tighten the four screws up too much, just nip them up and its smooth as silk and no leakage. |
Is anyone running one with Diff oil. If so what cst are you running????
UMW604 available from Kev and Ana at Inside Line Racing
Runs very smooth 10000 Kyosho Oil - super accelaration |
I suppose smooth was the wrong word to choice what I mean is there is supposed to be a good amount of resistance
in it |
With this wet weather I'm running 1300 CST and it's nice and grippy.
Do they leak at all with diff oil in them or is the grease better.
I use oil and it does leak...however the problem at least with mine is the case that is not perfect. If the material of the case was ok I think that it would work great. Now I have to keep the paper seal always in good shape in order not to leak
they do leak but slightly less if you use grease tbh there always going to leak a little
Has anyone found any binding issues with the gear diff on the gearbox case?
ive built mine up, fitted and it seems to be rubbing on the side the screws are on even though theyre all flush. |
I put a shim behind bearing on screw side .1or.2 I think does it rub if you flip it over?
if flipped over it rubs also. it seems it was catching on the moulding from the screws underneath the gearbox, I've trimmed it away and seems fine after running it in.
Got to say the gear diff feels very smooth and consistent! |
