Goodbye from JE Models...

To our loyal customers and model enthusiasts,

We are saddened to announce that JE Models will be closing its doors (virtually and physically) for good at the end of this year.

After an amazing 8 years helping redefine the RC model industry, the time has come for the team to explore other opportunities.

The great news for you guys is that everything in our warehouse must go by 31st December 2013 so keep an eye on our website for some unbeatable deals!

Don't worry, no suppliers or customers will be hurt in the closing down process. :)

We would like to thank all of you for your support and friendship over the last 8 years.

If you have any queries, please contact us on [email protected]

Wishing you all the best for the future,

The team @ JE Models.

Yet another great model shop closing its doors, all the best to those involved.

Naushad 02-10-2013 11:50 AM

That's a real surprise...I thought you guys were doing so so well!

What's happening to the losi 22.4 pre-orders...Horizon say its not due till Feb 2014?

Best wishes for your future endeavours.

ryanlownie 02-10-2013 12:07 PM

Thanks for the messages up to now guys, it means a lot.

Regarding pre-orders, any one that has pre-ordered kits with us will have those orders fulfilled. RC10 Classic's are due within a week so we're told and they will all be shipped out upon their delivery. Same goes for other models.

Such a shame, Great supplier and certainly one of the best web shops to navigate.

You'll be missed by many.

jamiebooth 02-10-2013 12:45 PM

Very sad day.. Unfortunatley an indication of how tough it is to make a profit selling RC stuff.
JE have been a great customer of SMD over the years and we wish our friends there all the best for the future.

Dodgy Guy 02-10-2013 12:49 PM

The cost of living has gone up so people are tightening they belts in. So hobbies are the first thing to stop and also people buying from abroad and not supporting uk shops like they used to.

It's always a shame when a shop shuts. Sorry to hear guys.

Sorry to hear about you guys closing down. Many thanks for supporting TORCH in the early revival days.

I've cut my spending back on RC, sold off a lot of kit, but haven't repurchased etc.

Also about to kill of sky - mainly due to junk on. I just want my money to go further elsewhere.

Unfortunately I can't remember last time I spent money on a high street, but may also add I'm not spending it online much either. Online shop = Sainsburys and that's about it.

Cost of living needs to come down! I've been looking at moving since June and my house value has gone up by £10k since then. Shame my taxes or stamp duty aren't!! Come on get real!
