Ordering from here in the UK will be far quicker than if maybe ordered from the USA...

We think this body lends itself nicely to a lot of great schemes.

Looks cool, what wing mounts are you using, they seem different to the kit?

/tobys 04-10-2013 12:22 PM

They are modified DEX410 ones. They fit the kit shock tower holes and make it easier for me to get to the rear shocks. Only downside so far is that you can't use the kit wing as the central scoop is in the way. They look beefy enough so should hopefully be as strong as the kit mounts.

KickMe 04-10-2013 06:19 PM

Could you post a pic of the 410 wing mount modification?

YoungChazz 06-10-2013 01:51 AM

For those who want their wings flopping around, Losi xx-4/xxx wing mounts should bolt right up, no need to modify anything. Our mounts hold the wing so all the downforce created is transferred to the chassis. The spacers provided in the Kit make shock work much less difficult.

I do like the CF look on that wing!

Looks smart Jeremy!!

Although next time you have the tools out, turn your top deck over the way, it is on upside down at present ;-)

SLEENAD 16-10-2013 06:07 PM

Nice carbon topdeck.
Who makes those?

It is a standard part on the X6 Cubed kit

YoungChazz 23-10-2013 02:57 AM

That's the new Flex Deck. Designed for maximum ability to tune flex. Bolt it down tight and the car is very stiff. Loosen or remove any one or a multiple of the bolts and you increase flex. Depending on which ones, you put the flex where you want it in the car.

Yes, you can do that with any top deck. But on the Flex Deck, engineered for the purpose, each bolt has a big effect. You can tell the difference easily on the track for all the various bolts.
