Racing THIS Sunday August 4th at WORM. Who's Racing??
 

Its August and WORM is back on, its been more than a few weeks since we all raced at Mendip so you should all have withdraw systems and be looking forward to SUNDAY.

Gates open at 8.30am.

Booking in from 9am with open practice and racing starting at 10am.

Minimum of 4 rounds of qualifying and finals.

Covered pits to shade you from the sun.

Race fees £5 members £8 non members.

On site cafe with the best full english and bacon & egg rolls at any RC club.

On site ladies and gent toilets.

10th scale 2wd, 4wd & SC trucks.

The new WORM sticker sheets will be on sale at race ontrol.

No running for me tomorrow. Was down the other day practicing and the motor magnets somehow delaminated from the pinion drive shaft!! Very strange as magnets are intact still!!!

Awaiting a replacement 7.5 turn

Sounds like it's possibly been running a bit warm then....not hard in this weather ;)

Yeah possibly Andy. Was only running 5min runs and on last run sat it down on track and it literally lost power. Thought it was the pinion come loose as the motor was just spinning up, but yeah pinion shaft had become "unglued" from the magnets.

Sent back to Schmacher who should warranty.....I hope :(

Well done Rob & Alan for stepping in and hosting todays racing at Yatton due to our rotten British weather. A good days racing, all very close. Hopefully the weather will be back on our side in two weeks time. :thumbsup:

Yes second that shame the wether was not good but having to top clubs not that fare away from each ether works out best for every one I thing had a top time as normal . Sham I mest my final up but I always do lol

Yeap shame about the weather as was quite looking forward to running outdoors but it was still good fun and great competition racing at Yatton. 2WD was close all day, was interesting to see that the top 3 cars were completely different. Ryan running his Cougar, Martin with his RB6 and I was running my DEX210 in 3rd. Good to see it all mixed up :)

Would have liked to be getting my Yoke in the mix too...glad to hear Yatton was enjoyed by everyone though...such a good thing having it as an option, and to see 2 clubs working together :)
