Me, and anyone else who happened to leave school this year in England will be getting our GCSE results tomorrow....

Good Luck josh i hope you get the results that you want i remember a friend texting me the morning of my results day asking me what i got i rang him to see what he was going on about then i realised it was results day.:p

Thanks Ash, But i dont know what results i want! :blush: so i guess im just hoping for enough passes to do the courses i want to do in college.

I would have got my AS Level results by now...if i hadn't of got kicked out of Sixth Form back in March!

I don't have time to complete my A level Art at the moment :( I did the first year (the AS bit) a couple of years back but then decided I didn't have time :(

I got an A tho :thumbsup:

in my GCSE's though - the highest I got was a D in mathematics - in Art I got an E! But English was the best, where I obtained the dizzy heights of U(n-graded) :thumbsup: I'm no role model - please don't follow my lead.:D

Feeling old now, I was the first year of Schooling to sit GCSE's, 4 B's, c, d, e and an f.... The school wanted me to go onto the sixth form but I went to college, had enough of that, and started an apprenticeship, I would love to do a degree now, but really, so many people got degree's, they mean less than 15 years ago.

Have no expectations and dont get dissopointed :) qualifications help, but at the end of the day to get a job with decent money nothing beats experience and abit of luck!

I finished school/6th form with 19 qualifications and i'm now using none of them in a trade with many opportunities and a nice wage packet.
Hope you do well, but it isnt the end of the world if it isnt what you expect!

I look at it as, an employer, I would look at apptitude rather than paper results, as, when you go through life, you will realise they will mean less and less as you get older, they are only there for your own bennefit.

I got 2 A's 2 B's and & 7C's. the A's where for ICT and Resistant materials the b's where Maths and Graphics: Ive got a picture of my graphics project somewhere.

OMG OMG OMG. Ive failed i just know i have:(:(:(:(:(:(

B in Maths, Geography, Computer Studies (and we actualy had to create a flow chart, and document a program in BBC Basic.... old skool) and Technical Drawing, C in Physics, D in English, so I got 5 passes, 4 B's and a C... anything below a C is a fail.

Makes me feel old that they have science and ICT...

IT: 4 B's
Science: 2 B's
Art: C
Graphics: C
History: C
English: C
Maths: C
RE: C
French: D
English Lit: D

...i'm sure i got a pass in another subject too...

To be honest boys dont worry about it, as long as you get 4 C`s or what ever you need to do the course yo want, you will be fine, thats all i did.

I turned out fine (sort of) :woot:

Although i haven't heard of half the subjects, it was just straightforward when i did mine :eh?:

when I did PE as a school topic a good few years ago, it was not just practical but theory and muscle groups, diet and all stuff like that.

and the practical bit was basketball and badminton, techniques and all that jazz, not just running for hours for no reason

Dead chuffed! .... both my kids (twins) have got exactly what they needed for the colleges they want to go to ... my daughter got 7 A's (5 A*) and 3 B's and my lad (1:8 offroad racer) got 6 C's 2 D's and an E in RE!!

What is it with RE? If all these kids are failing it doesnt/shouldnt that tell the education chiefs something .... RE is even broken down to show that my lad got an E in Islam!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember at our school RE was just an excercise in writting down the most random bullshit you could, oh did we get a bollocking after our mocks! :woot:

Hahaha i got a few telling off's for generally taking the piss. lol someone in my exam room spent the full RE exam writing "I LOVE RE" on the back of his paper so when they came to collect the papers he was sat on the front row and held his paper up in front of everyone. School was a good laff how i miss it lol. Ok ok ok ill stop before i get all emotional :cry::lol:
