2wd Regional Rnd 4 Stotfold 30th June SHRCCC Convoy

Worked so well for the round at DMS we'll be doing it again!

Looking like a 6.00am off from McDonalds at Farnborough according to my details! Will be breakfast at 5.30am :thumbsup:

Who's going? I'm flying Solo as I need to leave early doors :thumbdown::thumbdown:

Post up!

Kelk 11-06-2013 10:57 PM

I'm in and presume I'm giving Stu MCCabe a lift as I wouldn't want to leave him this way

He can't survive.....

Can probably squeeze another body in plus kit in the Landcruiser easy if someone wants a lift

Dudders 11-06-2013 11:00 PM

Read my lips (enough is enough) he's a small town boy

dobber 12-06-2013 06:58 AM

I am the delectable membership secretary of SHRCCC, Mr I'm sticking with Kyosho and not going all xray.

I think that explains it all :)

Dudders 12-06-2013 01:36 PM

If that doesnt help, he will ALWAYS crash on the first and last lap of every heat and final

Kelk 16-06-2013 09:24 AM

I've checked out Stotfold website and can't see any mention of AC power being available. Anybody know for sure?

Nope, no power

Kelk 16-06-2013 06:23 PM

So Surrey and hants guys are you all taking 12v dc leisure batteries with you?

Dudders 16-06-2013 06:38 PM

No, we'll just plug into another genie somewhere :woot::o

dobber 16-06-2013 07:33 PM

And if there is no room?

I don't have a 12V battery either, hmmmm

Dudders 16-06-2013 07:35 PM

Then we can all jack off from Chris's car ;)

jlucas 16-06-2013 08:00 PM

I've got a fair size battery u can take if u want u could probably run at least 4 chargers off it ?

Woodbine 21-06-2013 07:06 PM

I would be up for coming along. Even just to see what these are like and race if I can. Chat Sunday :)

Dudders 23-06-2013 06:15 PM

So, we're aiming to arrive at 7.00am which means leaving Farnborough Mac D's at 6.00am sharp. Distance is 72 miles so we should be there in well under an hour if we set the cruise control at 75 mph :o + 10mph :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Chris, are you bringing your big Gazebo for us all to go under? My red ones is in race control. Can you take my table and chair for me in your space wagon? Cheers.

Finals plans made on Thursday.

Woodbine 23-06-2013 06:20 PM

I can put gear in my boot on Thursday for Sunday. What is the power outcome.... I only have AC Power as does Shaun!!!

dobber 23-06-2013 08:18 PM

Think we really need to sort out power. James Lucas says that he has one but doesn't look like it will take to many chargers. Has anyone else got and 12v batteries that we can use, if not we need to get some quick :)

Dr_UpGrade 24-06-2013 07:22 PM

Guys,
If ya promise not to 'short' it out, I can lend you my 100ah camper van leisure battery...

It doesn't like constant high voltage pulls (so far anything over 4ah charging and my charger throws a wobbly), but keep 'em low and I reckon you'll be ok...

Let me know and I can bring the batt along on thursday night... Other than that I know Mr Mullany has one too, so maybe ask him 'nicely'...

Just let me know...

neil_p 24-06-2013 08:58 PM

If anyone wants to pit alongside me I can run 2 more chargers off my leisure battery, but no more than that.

Dudders 24-06-2013 09:04 PM

We'll just cop Power from someone's genie for a 5er, sorted ;)

Duncan 24-06-2013 10:39 PM

Battery

I am going and I still have the hobbits leisure battery, I am share they won't mind if I hang on to it unless they are going themselves :p

TARTMAN 24-06-2013 11:02 PM

gennie

I have a large, on wheels, Gennie that will power around 12 to 15 chargers at once easily, size of a hauler bag. will run all day on a full tank.

I can "hire" it out for you at £10. plus fuel. it will go with a full tank, just fill it up again before returned, normal petrol. prob uses about £10 of fuel at a guess if all plugged into it and on all day.

IF you feel you need it.

just an option.

Count me in - I guess it will fit in the landcruiser too James. I may not be racing on Thursday but I can pop over to the track and pick it on Thursday evening

Woodbine 25-06-2013 09:56 AM

I'm in... If it means I need to take others gear in my car so we can get the gen in with Chris not an issue.

dobber 25-06-2013 11:12 AM

Awesome, souns like a plan. SHRCCC all huddled around a genny, nice!

Dudders 25-06-2013 11:14 AM

Kelk 25-06-2013 11:18 AM

I've entered myself for the 4wd heat so may I join the convoy?

Dudders 27-06-2013 04:25 PM

No worries Steve, all info above!

Steve.T 27-06-2013 08:34 PM

Does anyone need a lift?

Kelk 27-06-2013 09:45 PM

Right the deal goes something like this - I have the gennie. It's fueled but I'll get some more.

Dudders - if you want to use the power from it - BRING THE CHEERLEADERS

No debate. No discussion. No negotiation.

Dudders 27-06-2013 10:04 PM

Cheer leaders sorted if you got my table n chair?!
