For the last few years a couple of us have been organising a party ...with toy cars...at the old national track at Talywain in South Wales, sadly Talywain has closed it's RC track this year, so we needed to find a new place to have some fun at....and WORM is the perfect venue!

This replaces WORM's previously scheduled club day on the Sunday.

When you email please include details of which days you'd like to enter, what classes/cars you'd like to run, if you want camping, and if you want BBQ food (and for how many people, partners/mates/extra's welcome) on the Saturday evening.

We've had a few entries in which is fantastic but also a number of people have verbally said they are up for it but are still yet to send through details of what they want to do as far as class and number of days racing.

The sooner we know the better we can organise all the bits behind the scenes to make this as fun as possible for you all!

Entry list now added to the first post...we'll keep it up to date as entries come in!

We're looking for at least 36 entries for the endurance race, and can easily cope with more....we haven't worked out the limit as yet, but will do as entries come in.

Sunday will be limited to 8 heats, 2wd, 4wd and truck classes will all run, and timetable will allow for minimum of 3 rounds of qualifying and 3 leg finals for all...but final numbers will dictate how the timetable works out so we'll keep you updated on that as we get entries in. :thumbsup:

It's not a fully serviced camping/caravan site, more race tracks with grass around for camping, so no electric on site. You can run generators til late though if you like, as we'll be up partying anyway!

24hr toilet facilities, but no showers I'm afraid.

Hope that doesn't put you off! The more the merrier!!!!

1 week to go chaps until booking closes.

We've had a great response so far but there are still slots available for this so if you are thinking about it please make up you're minds sooner rather than later. Would hate for people to have to miss out on this.

Hi Neale, entries have been steady, and total numbers are looking good, but not near capacity, so entry on the day should be fine for sunday :)

We still need entries before hand really though...especially for Saturday, as we need to make proper provision for prizes, food and camping! :thumbsup:

I'll be taking last minute bookings on Sunday too btw...and collecting cash from anyone booked in and not paid yet! :D

Right folks...

First post updated with details of current entries for all races/classes/etc.

Endurance is a little short of where we wanted to be in numbers, but will still work fine...so don't worry about that if we don't get a late rush of entries! :thumbsup:

Martin...will add you now...you around for BBQ/camping on the Saturday eve? Just let me know for numbers on food, more than welcome to join us if you fancy it! :)

Although a day late, now I have had the all clear from the family I am finally booked in for this!! Really looking forward to having a go on the WORM track with the 1/10th and of course the Micro (depending on the weather)

What time do gates open on Saturday chaps? I notice it says 11am on your website for drivers briefing and then qualifying.

Sorry for the silence over the last few days...Glastonbury and general busy'ness over the weekend!

Now we have the entry numbers sorted we'll finalise details on gate times etc, etc.

Latest update...

Entry lists have just been updated with a few last minute entries.

We've not strictly closed booking in at this point, and late entries can still be accommodated.

Last entry for BBQ is today, as the BBQ food is now being ordered from our local butchers tomorrow...meat sweats a go go :woot::woot:

Entries for Saturday and Sunday will be possible on the day, and I know of a few locals who are doing that, but you may not receive one of the specially designed and highly prized momento's of the weekend as they've now been pre-ordered!

We will be posting/emailing out booking in/start times a little later on.

The weather we ordered for the weekend is allegedly on route...hopefully mother nature won't divert it to a less deserving location :woot:

No going to stay late has jos going to be on her own with my nices freezer has gone so got to sort a new one out Sunday I'm lucky I can come sat

Bring Jo with you and pick up a new freezer Saturday morning.
