4wd regional 10th August

This meeting has been cancelled!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha, just kidding, but it may be cancelled if Andy Carter and Paul Sykes don't go to Stotfold next Sunday!!!!!
Well that's not true either, but I don't want these guys to race at EPR next Sunday because I want to keep my 2nd postion in the 4wd Championships!!!!!
See you 2 at Stotfold next Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dancoog 03-08-2008 07:11 PM

LOL, I can only guess at how thrilled Brookie is going to be when he sees this.

Hopefully EPR gets the support for their last regional of the year.

I would be a shame if there was a low attendance at Eden Park with so many people looking to get practice in before the next national.

Yeah Stu, a little damp here as well, though forecast suggests (!) it will stop overnight!

Tracks preped and ready to go, not sure of numbers as I know several drivers are heading off to the Stotfold Regional for National practice.
I do know of at least one new driver who will be joining us tomorrow and another experienced National Champion who is making a welcome return to off-road! You'll find out who tomorrow!

Please be aware that should the grass area be damp the ground staff may direct us to park elsewhere but pit on the grass. All depends on how much rain we get!

Will have another supply of E of S forms with me the catch the last of the late entries, ourselves included!

trekkerkk 09-08-2008 03:51 PM

hmm wonder who that could be:thumbsup:
just when i thought i may have half a chance at winning a regional lol,

brookie 09-08-2008 06:13 PM

If I understand Matt's anacronym (?) I think he's got it.

But Dave, you'll just miss out 'cos your oop north!

Guess we'll all have to take STOCK (just like he did last year!) when this former EPO (and yes I did mean EPO) regular returns!

Think the damp might affect his competitiveness but we'll see.....

trekkerkk 09-08-2008 06:17 PM

Adyb 11-08-2008 04:56 PM

What an excellent day!! EPR has been come back better than I remember it:thumbsup: The meeting and atmosphere was spot on and was soooo relaxing, with 2 practice,4 rounds and 3 finals the most racing I have had in 1 day for a very long time. Was happy with qualifying 4th and finishing 5th and learning loads about the car.
Well done to everyone involved and I am coming back for more, just wish I had done the move at the beginning of the year!

Cheers:woot:

niggs98 11-08-2008 05:31 PM

at least you have the full winter series to get ready for next years regionals adrian

Adyb 11-08-2008 05:52 PM

Umm with 'baby' on way around end of October beginning of November it might be tuff over the winter, but would like to do some more racing end of August and in September. I am aiming to do regionals next year :D

niggs98 11-08-2008 06:14 PM

hmmmmm did steve speak to you about the end of season finals, could have a sleeper in the s/e team

brookie 11-08-2008 06:35 PM

If Adrian, or anybody else for that matter is interested in the End of Season Finals please check out:

http://www.brca.org/

All the details and an entry form are on there.
I would ask that due to the closeness to the closing date (15.08.08 for the BRC's/Juniors/Veterans) that all late entrants (and that includes YOU MCDC:woot:) download, complete and mail their entries direct to the section Secretary, Charlie Fraser (his addy is in the 2008 BRCA Handbook) ASAP!

Closing date for the F3/4/5's is 01.09.08 so again due to other commitmenst could all drivers who want to enter the event at Coventry on 13/14.09.08 that haven't already done so please get them off to Charlie before that date.

Thanks and here's hoping for a good SE turnout at both events!

Southwell 11-08-2008 06:48 PM

What about if you havent actually done any regionals this year, can you still enter?

niggs98 16-08-2008 02:52 PM

ian as the date to enter via the rep has passed and steve is away (im told) enter direct via charlie frasier im told there is a link on here but havent found it yet, perhaps someone can find it for me ;)
