Work Party & Practice Session - Saturday 02 August 2008
 

How about another one of these this Saturday?

Following the success that was the EPR National we are still planning on continuing the work parties, though not as frequent as before!

There's some remedial work required, grass cutting, weedkilling, strimming, etc., etc. And then thinking about what is required for the future!

As per usual on the Saturday we'll, once again, be sampling the delights of the 'Sunshine Cafe' before meeting at the track at about 10:00AM.

Work Party Drivers can, also as per usual, run their cars around AFTER the work has been done for the day.

Any drivers (and we have, both before and as a result of the National, had some enquiries to date) who wish to come along in the afternoon (we would suggest from about 2:00PM onwards) for practice are more than welcome.
Those non members not participating in the work party will be charged a nominal fee of £5 for the afternoons practice session, drivers will, of course be able to practice until they can't see the track (about 10:00PM at present) if they do so wish!

Hope to see you all on Saturday, lets keep the momentum going! Two more EPR Regionals and then it's the Winter Warmer series!

I need to set-up the timing and PA systems again as the last one used was the BRCAs...

If you are aiming to come down, please can you post here so that we have an idea...

All our Work Parties are 'proper'!
Proper hard work (strimming, grass cutting & weed killing are our top priorties!). Proper RC bonding! Proper practice if you want it and Proper Tea & Coffee available (as long as RCBrookey doesn't make it!:woot:).

Next one this Saturday, 09 August 2008!

Prep. for the following days final round of the BRCA SE 4WD Regional Championship.
Race Control set-up.
Continued discussions re. track developments and progression.

Obviously everyone's welcome, including Steph, who'll no doubt be quicker than Racer's top crawler!

I think the 9th I'm having my bathroom plastered after making some big holes in the wall "redecorating".. I will be down for proper strimming duties the next weekend though? Oh, and tell RCBrookie I'm bringing a flask!
