The first issue of the Tablet Magazine from Rc Tuner is now available on the app store from apple. This is a very clever idea and works great!!!
Go to the app store and search Rc Tuner Magazine, they also have a Facebook page, find it and like it :thumbsup:

This is really good. The tablet format works really well being multi dimensional. The ability to go straight to the products being reviewed is very clever.

Why only apple?

They have the Rc Tuner coming out soon for other tablets soon, This is the first proper issue, so it takes time to get things right, and yes it's very cool.

I read it last night, and I really enjoyed it.

It did take me a bit if time to work out that it scrolls both ways.

I feel like I need to buy a Tekin motor now.

Just downloaded the first issue, first time with a magazine on the I pad, thought it was very good, subscribed for the year, only £5.49 :thumbsup:

I subscribed for the year but can't open the first issue. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure what you've done wrong. Even I had to subscribe. Once I paid I just opened it. Let me know if you can't open it I will try and find out why.

Think it's tablet only as I couldn't find it on my I phone, works great on the I pad and a great read.

Had to buy first issue even though I subscribed for the year to be able to open first issue

Is it just me or does anybody else feel ripped off and think they have payed for a years subscription to a magazine but have only received one issue.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I will try and help, but I have limited knowledge as RC Tuner is based in the states, yes I have written for them, but will try to help.

I believe the second issue is ready, I do know that the first issue was ready for sometime before iTunes released it, so I believe the second issue will be released when iTunes releases it.

This is a new concept and the guys are working hard on the magazine, I'm sure they will be fair, they have always been straight with me. I will contact them and ask them to come on here and explain the situation.

I really hope they don't keep taking money off me, it says my subscription will renew on he 27th of June 2014. I think 'subscription' is generous though!?

With most yearly subscription you receive 12 magazines (one a month).
This one seems like you pay for a year and get one magazine.

I have reported this to the App Store and they are going to look into it and said if things don't change they will deal with it.

It's a shame because it actually looked quite promising.

Any more news on this , as if their is a chance to get some money back or some more issues I might report them to the App Store also

I chatted to the guys online and they said they are working on it, I asked them to come on here and explain, they should be on here at some stage to let you know know whats going on.

This is Tim from RcTuner. I am one of the editors and work with DC to get some interesting content for the mag. We have had some production issues and are working through them. We realize the next few issues have been slow and will ensure people get all the issues they have paid their hard earned money for. We are a new business and have hit a few unforeseen obstacles.

In Short, we have two issues in production now, and will have at least one out in a few weeks. If anyone has additional questions, please feel free to ask them here, but emailing to [email protected] will get a much quicker reply.

I've not heard anything, sorry. But they did say they would make good for anyone that paid for a subscription, I myself have paid for a subscription. So I too trust they will come good.

I've sent Tim an email asking that he does not renew the 'subscription' if you can call it that?

I have since found the 'manage app subscriptions' and cancelled it myself!

Assume this project is dead and buried?

I'd say that was a pretty safe bet!

I've just had an email informing me my annual subscription has been paid :mad:

Reported to Apple and they are refunding and cancelling the subscription :thumbsup:
