We are just trying to get a guide to how many people would be interested to make sure the meeting is worth while.
Its not like a regional etc where you a guarantee that you will have a certain amount of people there. I have not spoken to Steve Andrews who is the main man at West Kent for a while, but as far as I aware the meeting is still set to run. I will see him at the F3,F4,F5 Finals on the 13th Sept. Please also feel free to continue to post if you are planning to come along so we can have a good guide of numbers. Many Thanks |
Just thought I would list the names of people showing interest :
Steve Andrews Brett Hope Garry Spice Neil Heathfield Martin Hayes Mark Marshall Jon Peters Nathan Ralls Adyb Tony Tom Simon Cook 3975dave Steve Brooke Chris Brooke So not looking too bad :D |

Spoke to Steve A a couple of times today and the meeting is still definitely on!
Though he's been under the weather recently he has already started prepping the track and will continue to do further developemnt for this meeting. He may appreciate some help leading up to the event. Brett - You can also count Chris and myself as entries, hopefully there'll be bacon rolls for brekky again! Hope you can all appreciate how my prioritories are changing! See everybody at the F3/4/5's! |
I've spoken to Steve Andrews and the meeting on the 28th is definately on. I'm told there will be heats for 2 and 4 wheel drive.

Spoke to Steve Andrews yesterday.....
Track preparation is well underway and, weather permitting, all looks good for the 28th. There has been some discussion between the publican and Steve and we are again reminded that those excellent bacon rolls will be available as part of a breakfast deal on Sunday 28th! Can't wait, never mind the racing! Hope to see many of you there, lets all make Steve's continuing efforts worthwhile! |
Myself, Charlie and Vince were interested in this as well
|
I have a couple of questions, where is the track at west Kent? Does anyone have the post code, or the road name that they can post?
Also, what tires are best to use? What surface is the track? Cheers :) |

heres the location,
behind the Plough Pub , Leigh Road nr Tonbridge, Kent. TN11 9AJ hope this helps, trekkker |
For those coming down the A21, leave at the signs for Hildenborough (B245) and follow that road through Hildenborough village. Go past the Volvo dealer and down the hill and turn right opposite the "Flying Dutchman". Then you just need to keep going. Be careful as the road narrows and there are some sharp bends, and bear in mind that this road is a bus route!
