Horizon hobby uk & LRP

A little bird told me yesterday that horizon and LRP have or are about too part company. As yet i don't know who will be the new distributor. Does anybody else have anymore info, were to send those warranty repairs etc!

Darren Boyle 15-07-2008 10:48 AM

They have indeed parted company, we have some serious bargains on the way, on LOTS of LRP products

We are led to believe a new distributor will be appointed soon (IF any of them are interested in taking it on that is)

Warranty "for the time being" is still with Horizon on all products that they have sold.

Joined them in 2000 when they started their 'comeback' into batteries and motors.

I think Tricky joined the year after or something like that.

not sure about the other Euro drivers, some have come and gone and come back again.

That is all i want lee, i've used a lot of LRP products over the years and i just want to know that the backup is there if anything should go wrong. I just hope it gets sorted out sooner rather than later:)

Lee 15-07-2008 01:27 PM

Let me guess ash, you run Nosram????

I heard its going to Fister.

"Fisting the opposition till they turn BLUE"

millzy 15-07-2008 01:28 PM

why is blue better?

Lee 15-07-2008 01:30 PM

Because it says so on Doughty`s top

And there is no Orange smoke in blue stuff

millzy 15-07-2008 01:39 PM

blue smoke is better?

but norsam is LRP so is red just as good as blue but not stated on Tshirts?

ashleyb4 15-07-2008 01:41 PM

Red is better than blue as i have only seen one nosram speedo die ive seen loads of lrp's.

Darren Boyle 15-07-2008 01:41 PM

Chris, love the quote!!! Remids me of "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil"

I personally also dont care what goes on behind closed doors at LRP and Horizon just as long as it does not affect my business or the back up of the products I have or have sold. It will be a shae if we cant get LRP anymore since it has been an excellent seller for us over the years, but somtimes things move on. Lets wait and see who gets it to see if the supply will continue to be good. There are several rumours floating around as to who is in the frame and who is not already, we will see.

So off to read the HEAT scoop "George and Jurgen split over forgotten secret love child" then...........
