I think its some kind of shock absorbant protection thing; good idea actually. If modern 2wd and 4wd buggies had stuff like this on the side of the chassis it would reduce the chance of getting the car damaged by someone swiping into the side of you...... oh wait, that never really damages the car when it happens :eh?:

So really its a waste of plastic :p

It's a Traxxas Slash CORR truck. It helps fill in between the body sides and the chassis, so enabling them to run side by side without getting tangled up.

Golfland is great, I raced against XGod there and we battled hard for a few laps until WES took me out - the dirty scoundrel. XGod did OWN on that track tho, the way he was snide-sliding around those U-Bends and crackpotting over the whoops, roosters out - man, it was something to watch as WES was rebuilding my car for me (he still owes me one tho)

Lee came on that trip to Golfland but forgot his car - remember that one Lee? :lol:

Golfland- Happy days, if i had of brought my car i probably would have beaten WES but not XGod, man that guy can wheel, he proper rips it up and he was so fast on the straight away. I never got to meet Muscles though im not sure if he is local, Lockhart is a cool guy though, i got a photo taken with him and he signed my Bmag shell like all the pro`s do. He must be sponsored, he has stickers on his shell and everything.

There was talk of a pro racer with custom wheels though but i never got to catch his name :confused:

do you think B-Mag knows David Beckham? they both seem to like sharpies

Xgod kept flicking peanuts at WES' head and he just took it - he didn't get to ride the in back of XGOD's pickup tho did he! haha.. Man, that was a good night out after a hard days racing:thumbsup:

You know leet or elite if you want. Most common usage is l337, not 1337 as Northy used it (and it made me thinking for a while about what 1337 means)

Xgod didnt come down last week, I dont think I'll see him this weekend either.
He probably got turned down because golfland doesnt have modified 4-wheel.
All they run is nitro and slash, and some mod electric truck.
On opening day they got peed off when I showed up with my B44.
They chewed me out saying "There has never been modified 4-wheel here!"
"You might have to sit this one out and just watch today.":blush:
I was a little angry, but I got over it.
They did get happier when I showed up later this year with an E-firestorm.
I suppose they wanted me to try 2wd truck for a change.
I'm glad I did it's a fun class.

Here's some more golfland pics as you wanted.
We've always done the Ifmar start, your really on your own time
trying to get as many laps as possible within the time limit.
Lately I've been getting 15 laps in 6 mins, which isnt bad really.
If I wouldnt have wreaked as much I could have done alot better.
