Racing Sunday 3rd February !!!
 

As above racing is on as usual from 6 - 10pm, with 19 people racing last night, 4 of which were first time racers at the club ;)

Should be there hopefully with my own car too...just need to finish throwing my sons car off the walls !!! Killed two more servo's tonight..

So potentially two 4wd's

Hope to be there if I can find a time machine & return to January 3rd!!

What's up with the printer? I can bring mine along if required.

Apparently there's a problem with two of the USB ports on the laptop..

We will pop down again. Dont know if my car will be sorted but the boy has a vintage mardave and hasnt raced before. Might bring it down for a laugh.

2 out of the 3 usb ports werent working so only had the loop connected, to print some results off i kept swapping the leads around to print off the results.

Ive had the laptop on again yesterday and all 3 usb ports seem to be working again now so hopefully it will work. If not Ian said he has a spare laptop hes gonna sort out for us to use !!!

I still think it will help to get the drivers for the laptop updated.
Or at least have them to hand on a disk so that the next time the USB ports aren't registering properly in device manager we re-install the drivers and give it a bit of a kick.

All divers or just the usb ones ?

Ians got another laptop we can use, he's gonna set it up for sunday so will just need somebody to pick it up and bring it to the meeting :)

I'll bring an xp machine as backup.

Just a suggestion, seriousl'y they're coppers, £3 or so at a shell station, wouldn't be surprised if you can get them from poundland!

I'll bring a USB hub. I have a few in a drawer.

Due to the increasing numbers and to save anymore embarrassment to the club I'd say a New system is in order. Tue one we have is a hand down from oxclose and is now showing its age.

The only problem would be people with MRT transponders may not work with the new decoder!

How many members are using MRT? Can you let me know if you are please?

BBK are doing a trade in deal. You trade in any transponder and get a Harry's PT for about £40 (if we can get 10 together)

We will still have 10 hand outs which are free to use and we will have 10 Harry's which can be used by members (probably a deposit required)

With this and the new laptop on its way we should be back to trouble free lap counting very soon��

I will bring the info on Sunday and I need a commitee decision on the laptop...! We'll need some proxy votes as well!

I'm running a MRT in my 2wd.

I would not mind two Harry's one for me and one for Nathan if the club can get discount on bulk purchases ?

I'm running 1 MRT transponder as well but would look at buying 2 Harry's to run in both classes, rather than keep swapping 1 around all the time !!!

Great news about the timing equipment....!!!

I'll speak to Rob at BBK on Monday and find out how much it is to buy them without a trade in..
I think it's £38 if you trade in 10 or more but as the club is trading in 10 handouts in that may allow us to get the same price for any PT's members want to trade in??
