The OffoOple Euros Thread

We dont have one of these bad boys yet:o

I think this will be where the discussion for the euros will take place, im not sure if there will be any live feeds from the track this year but im sure you will get all the info you need from jimmy`s reports. :D

My first query is what is the plans for everyone on the days before the event. I will arrive probably late morning on the saturday. What does everyone usually do? Visit the track, prep cars, Drink?

Lee 26-06-2008 08:44 AM

This thread is a bit quiet:eh?:

jimmy 26-06-2008 10:01 AM

We're getting there thursday so will have a bit of a chill out first!
Got to try sort out some internet access somewhere - I doubt they'll have access at the track like there was in Vaasa last year, so we'll need to find a way of uploading, either haXXor stylee or find a legit local internet place.

Teddy truman 26-06-2008 10:53 AM

me, dad, wraggy and lee going out saturday morning:thumbsup:

Lee 26-06-2008 11:01 AM

nobby 26-06-2008 11:39 AM

Teddy truman 26-06-2008 01:47 PM

jimmy 26-06-2008 02:55 PM

Lee 26-06-2008 02:55 PM

If you need a hand Jimmy give me a shout :(

Going out early to have a lil break - We were originally going to go to the 8th Euros as well to cover it but that fell thru so now we're having a holiday I guess you'd call it  and so I can scope the mcdonalds out.

Lee 01-07-2008 10:09 AM

For those driving, there is a new rule that comes into force today, there is supposed to be a hi-vis vest for each person in the car, im not sure how strict they will be on this though, but no doubt they will enforce it just because were british :(

Hopefully none of us will be stood at the side of the road anyway :)

Jimmy, theres a McDonald's right next to the Stadio Delle Alpi (Juventus football stadium) which is a couple of junctions down the autostrada.
The stadium is well signposted so can't miss it.

Below is one of the run's from the 05 Worlds. I don't think the people behind us in the queue were impressed when we put this order in. :D

Filetto di pesce e patatine, per favore:D

Remember that fish and chips isn't a worldwide known dish :p. If you want a good and cheap way to eat in Italy ask for a TRATTORIA;): dove è la trattoria più vicina?
or ask, of course, for a pizzeria!

p. s. sorry for bad english

jimmy 01-07-2008 03:41 PM

For France, it's ok still 1st of October. Police will not check before this date...For Italy i don't know

See you in Collegno

Cruise 01-07-2008 07:31 PM

Safety Jackets were already mandatory when last euros in Italy took place.
And you have to drive with lights on all the time.

Cruise.
