Schumacher's New CAT K1 Competition 1/10th 4WD is coming soon...

The CAT K1 is an ultra modern, 1/10th scale, 4WD, Electric Powered buggy which continues the race winning tradition of Schumachers legendary CAT ‘Competition All Terrain’ vehicles.

As just got my self the sx3

I've just got an sx3 In last couple of month and will prob have this car later on. Just because the k1 is coming doesn't mean the sx3 is a bad car all of a sudden. If I was wanting a new 4wd at the min would get the sx3 as its dirt cheap

Looks like Schumacher might have just got shafted here (by that i meen going from belt to shaft drive). :p

Will be interesting to see the layout when the shots come out.

Any one now if its just a up dated sx3 our is it completely new ?

It's completely new, there have been rumours for months that a new shaft drive car was on the drawing board, I'm willing to bet the k1 is shaft driven

I love the timing of this what with XRay saying they're going to show us their new buggy at the wekend, here's Schuey popping another one out for peeps to think about instead:lol:

Seems 4wds are coming out from all manufacturers at the moment, Xray, Schumacher, Vega :wub

Don't think Schumacher have ever had a shaft car, will be interesting to see.

looks great, but seems so low if its belt. but would they really go shaft drive? after all these years? hmmmmm.....

I wont be jumping on one, i love my sx3 and shes all blinged up, will do me for the next season........... but then again................;)

I like the look of it.

I'm happy with what I have.

If I was interested I'd hope for shaft drive and hex based wheel system

Shame wheel fitment isn't standard like 1/8th from what I understand

Intersting looking car, but not a pretty offering at all,(like most forward cab sheels) never known

The cars really good :thumbsup: its done loads of testing at RHR - no spy videos this time though :p

I'd be gutted if it wasn't belts as that is why I love the sx3. For me I shall wait until they have been out for a while and all the setup issues etc have been ironed out. Not good enough to work it all out myself :blush:

LOL, I did type it different at first then thought better of it before it got took the wrong way and so I wrote that instead :D

Maybe just me but i think looks like it has smallbore shocks !

I kind of fancy belt drive systems - even more so since I got a belt driven tourer - So if it's shaft drive, I can only hope it will not be replacing the SX3.

I recon it might have a noticable lack of purple :(

You mean less alloy and more plastic? :thumbsup: I am thinking cat 4000 with an alloy chassis, big bores and all the other good stuff. Hoping one might turn up at a local event near me this weekend so I can get a nosey...:)

I'm sure as all past Schumacher cars it'll be another winner, just wish it had an XLS style body:)

My Losi xx4 worlds still ran in front of these latest cars :D
I don't think the latest chassis designs give huge performance advantages over the earlier SX cars especially at club level racing.

What does everyone else think?

Come on schumacher, release some more details. My Cat who is called Coco is getting impatient waiting....
