LM Raceway video

Here is Lee Martins masterpeice at last, LM Raceway. Lots of effort has obviously gone into this track and it looks great to drive, with plenty of skill and timing required.

What is the yellow stuff ?

Rofl :bom:

jimmy 25-09-2006 03:18 PM

its 100% astro afaik ? ?

Lee Martin 25-09-2006 04:21 PM

no. 80% astro. 20 tarmac.....

my bow ties have done 8 runs...just gone off!!

and i did my best laps on 3rd run BB pins!

bow ties grip to tarmac and reduce wheel spin. therefore reducing wear.

the yellow is astro

Spencer Mulcahy 25-09-2006 04:51 PM

Me and Chris Cocker are going to come down for some of the winter series three and a half hour trip to get there but looks worth it fantastic job.

jimmy 25-09-2006 04:58 PM

oh reet lee, I thought it was all astro since you have black and yellow astro ? can barely tell them apart!

Lee Martin 25-09-2006 05:03 PM

sounds good spencer....

be sure to book in when you know when your coming! cost less to race then!

thanks for comments guys...hope everyone likes driving it as much...thats what its built for!

k£v!n 25-09-2006 05:16 PM

Pidge. Are there any travelodges, Travel Inns etc local to where the track is.

Does the engine on the bus still work. Could come in handy with the heater over the winter series cold/wet days?

Stu 25-09-2006 07:58 PM

J, it's a fecking good job you've got unlimited bandwidth, everyone in the world's gonna be watching that video!

super__dan 25-09-2006 08:06 PM

Lee,

Should I stop cutting my 1 run Euro tyres off then and actually save them? What's the 'best' tyre do you think?

Have you applied for a national next year?

Dan

Lee Martin 26-09-2006 11:52 AM

dan,

not applied yet, but looking too.

i love my bow ties round there....prolines are good cause they take jumps 10 million times better than anything else, as as they blown if u mess up with a 2wd you can still catch the car in the air.

i hope everyone whats to see the vid! lol

there are lots of travel lodges near....2 at chievely services J13 M4 (15 mins away)

also 1 at tothill on A34 (15 mins away)

Southwell 26-09-2006 11:54 AM

And loads of hotels in Basingstoke (15mins away), seems like a great place to hold it!

Lee Martin 26-09-2006 11:55 AM

indeed it is................

what else is close...

good night life....

lots of pubs.....

Southwell 26-09-2006 12:04 PM

Think their the main things people would want.
Also good access from the main roads + motorways, M3, M4 and A34.
