As some of you know my son Nathan goes into Yorkhill this week to close a hole in his heart. As a thank you to the hospital I would like to give something back and hopefully we will have some prizes to raffle off on the day. Hope you can all make it. KC |

Hi guys.

I will be running a raffle on the day to try and raise some extra cash for Yorkhill and so far I have got some great prizes. The following companies are sponsors of this event RC Domination Demon MB Models Xtreme Karting Atomic Carbon LA Flair P Dub Racing Low Drag Racing Alan Clark Communications Ralls Racing JE Models Inside Line Racing SMD Rudebits DMS Racing/X Factory UK Much More UK Renella Hair & Beauty Arbonne Also got £50 in John Lewis Vouchers donated by a friend With more on the way. |
Ralls Racing have just been in touch to let me know that as well as donating raffle prizes, team drives with Ralls Racing for the top unsponsored under 13 & under 16 will be up for grabs too. Nathan Ralls is possibly going to attend the meeting personally so its a great chance for the young guys to impress.

Looks set to be a great day Kenny, looking forward to it.
|
Hi Kenny sorry but I don't think I will be able to make but I can send you something to raffle it will be from CEF Elgin
|
Thats a shame Davie you cant make it but yeah something for the raffle would be great. PM sent.
|
hi kenny whats the control tyres for this or best carpet? not run indoors on carpet with the 22 yet cheers. i may have 3 guys wanting to come down from snowy inverness.
what time do we start etc. got to travel down in the morning weather permitting of course. |
Hi Paul.
Tyre wise a yellow mini pin or mini spike with a cut stagger on the front works quite well. Some guys like mini pins all round depending on how much steering you like. It would be great to see you so hope you can make it. Doors open at 8am. Address is 130 Bowhouse Road, FK3 0EU Grangemouth. Hope that helps KC |
cheers kenny. ya we are looking forward to it, is this the same place where i went for the last round of SORC :)
|
Yeah Paul.
Its the same venue. See you soon. |
Looking forward to it Kenny.

I think there was a request on facebook for entry details, but I can't find it now!
Anyway, Here's mine! Jimmy Hamilton BRCA No: N/A Car: Caster SK10 (4WD) PT No: 7320156. Can't remember if there's anything else needed! |
hi kenny ok thats 3 deffo. one maybe. will you have handout pts two of my lads dont have pts ? cant wait:thumbsup:
|
The Falkirk club doesn't have handouts anymore as they have all failed & the cost of replacing them is too high.
So basically they will require their own Pt's unless some kind people can loan them one. Let me know if they can arrange something On a side note but important one, Ralls Racing will be attending the event & will have their shop with them. If you want to know what they stock visit their website: www.rallsracing.com They will have plenty of tyres with them as well: Schumacher Mini-spikes (Tyre of choice for this event) Schumacher Mini-pins plus Ballistic Buggy tyres Also if you want anything give them a shout & they'll bring it with them to the event. I'm also trying to organise some hot food to be served on the day for all you hungry racers, will keep you all posted Cheers John |
I will have one mrt pt that you can use Paul, I won't be racing as I scratched my eye a month ago and I've spent most of the last 2 days at hospital with it coz it's not healing up. I will be at the meeting taking some pics.
Cheers David |
If you can all send me your details as below:
Name: Age: BRCA NO.: 2WD Entered (yes/no): 4WD Entered (yes/no): 2WD Pt: Make: Model: 4WD Pt: Make: Model: Frequencies: Ability (novice = 1 - superstar = 15): Please put these detail in a message too me on FaceBook: http://www.facebook.com/john.allan.549668?ref=tn_tnmn Oh add me as a friend if you wish (how sad does that sound  pmsl) |
jesus dude sorry to hear about your eye, i had the same thing bleeding inside the eyeball had to rest for a week . thanks for the loan of pt, we do have the old amb 20 black transponders here woulkd they work if we brought along ?
|
Unfortunately they aren't compatible with AMBrc. With the BBKrc software you can only set it up as either AMB20 (old style) or AMBrc & we have to run AMBrc as it allows for the use of Pt's.
I'll see if I can borrow a set of rechargable transponders. How many Pt's are you short of as the club has 1 Pt which can be loaned out |

Getting nicely excited now! Really looking forward to Sunday. Better than Christmas!
After a couple of 'trial' meetings, I'd like to actually think that I could just concentrate on driving the car on Sunday. It should be set up pretty well now, so here's hoping that my old thumbs can finally show me what they can do. Looking forward to seeing everybody on Sunday, having a good natter and some good racing! See you soon! Jimmy Hamilton |
Ditto Jimmy, should be a great days racing.
Scotty |
I'm really looking forward to Sunday too. I enjoyed the less complex layouts we have been going with recently - think it makes for better, closer racing. Be good to see folk I haven't seen for ages
|
Big thanks to kenny and crew for a great days racing. Me and the boys from s.r.c.c. Had a excellent days racing, I even managed to win a few prizes on the raffle , the misses said I should a kept the voucher thou.:D:D:D:D:D:yawn:. It was good to chat and get some feedback on our track aswell. Thanks again kenny your wee man looks like he's gonna be just fine, and he's soooooooooooo cute . See you all soon.
|
Just would like to add my thanks to all those who attended the meeting making it what it turned out to be, a great meeting :D
Roll on 2013 which will be even better with the possibility of a 2 day event, watch this space. Big thanks to Ralls Racing for supporting the event on the day & helping people out all day longer, awesome job boys. Oh & thanks for giving us a lesson in how to drive bloody fast lol. Things got a little stressful towards the end with how complex the finals structure became & in all honesty I was trying to make it work as smooth as I could, 2013 will be better :D |
Thanks john.
You did a great job as always and the meeting ran like a Swiss watch! Top job. |

That's because it was being run by a Swiss watch but don't tell Paul Maxwell as don't think he's notice I pinched it yet LMAO
