How did the Pred team do, this track should of suited them with it being a farly smooth surface :)

niggs98 02-06-2008 05:20 PM

dave didnt have the best of days but learnt a lot the other chap went well and was brave to try a lot of changes that lewis has come up with like the new shocks new antisquat plates so had a very different feeling car under him. it looked a lot more stable round track and as the day went on he got used to it and improved steadily, shame he got eaten by the field in his final. lee you looked a hell of a lot happier with ya x fac cars as opposed to the predisesors

Body Paint 02-06-2008 06:23 PM

"the other chap" aka Belsten, will get quicker with that car I can gaurantee it. Had a sit down with him and his "bitch" just before his final and we found a couple of minor problems with the car that will drastically improve the grip. Hope he can make it to another National or two, I'd like to see what else he's got

DCM 02-06-2008 07:29 PM

I was pitting with Dave all day, and I think he listened to too much advice rather than concentrate on working it with Justin, I know when they reverted back to where they had started the day, the car was a lot better, it must have been good, he was shaking on the rostrum hehe

Cheers niggs, the cars were much better, and they could have gone quicker if my thumbs and brain would work together and i grew some balls in the back section:lol:

Roll on EPR, my car likes bumps:thumbsup:

Thanks Nathan. Yes lots of changes to the car throughout the day, not helped by missing all of practice with a faulty spektrum module ariel. The new shocks & anti squat plate definately improved the car

Thanks mate. There is alot more speed to come yet. Only 3rd time out wth it and my driving is still coming back to me after around an 8 year absence as you know. 4th qualifyer was good enough for around 30 ish in the round with a couple of errors. Would love to do another national this year if there were any spaces still left

Well nothing ventured not gained IMHO. Not all set ups suit different people but thanks for the kind words everyone
