As far aS I can see, that is the worlds car. It can be bought as a complete kit or a conversion for your B-max4 II.

RRP in Japan seems to be the same as the old World Spec, street price with my favourite dealer over there is even 30 euros below!
I wonder how much it'll be in Germany, but at the moment the engine failure of my real car is a bigger problem... Should have bought Japanese in full size, too, not French. :p |
Anyone have an idea yet, when we may see these or the BMAX-2M available in Europe. Temptation is growing.
|
Mibosport has the WN in stock at €439.-

Will be ordering myself one. Apart from a few wheels and different springs, can you recommend any other spares. I don't want to break the bank, but racing hear in the UK it may be worth having a few bits in my pit box. Racing will mainly be on astroturf and some indoor carpet racing. Thanks. |
So far my son and I only needed a couple of front arms (left and right interchangeable) and front shock towers in one season of racing with some really hard impacts. I'd recommend getting the front wheel hexes for AE-style wheels, the sway bar kit should be included in the Worlds kit.

Is anybody having trouble removing the front hex adapters of B-Max 4? Because i can't remove them... The pin is stuck big time!
|
Yes, sometimes the pin is hard to get out. Try to push it out from either side with a long body clip or something similar, and if required use a hammer.
|
Did you build it? If not, there's a chance that whoever did has put thread lock in it to help stop it falling out.
|
I built it. I was happy when i did because it was tight and i shouldn't use any type of "rubber cement" as mentioned on the guide.
Hammer and an old Associated pin will do. I'll try it tonight. I need to rebuild the cvd's. |
After two meetings the car is dialed. Easy to drive and easy to get to the sweet spot of tuning. The car is "talking" to me! :)
A slight problem i found is the diff nut coming loose after each run. I put some loctite in there but it doesn't seem to work. I think the nut is bronze so normal loctite won't work. Any ideas? |
Loctite do an activator in a spray can to help threadlock work on special metals, not sure on the price though.
|
You could either carefully "foul" the thread on the bolt with some pliers a little or just put the tread lock on the bolt and let it dry before tightening the bolt.
|
any one got a starting setup for carpet
