Apex GP 2012 Full Details
 

Hi All,

Please below the plans for the APEX GP on the 16th of September 2012 :D

7.30am Gates Open
7.40am Track open/Practice 10 at a time for 5 minute slots.
7.45am Booking in open
8.45am Booking in closes
9.00am Drivers briefing, end of open practice
9.15am First Heat on the Line (4 rounds of heats)
1.30pm End of Heats
1.35pm Buddy Race
1.45pm Retro Race
1.55pm Concourse Award
2.00pm Finals Start (3 finals for all, 2 x final for the Novice/Juniors)
5.30pm Trophies / Raffle / Presentations

This is an outline of the days proceedings. Subject to numbers on the day we might reduce to two finals for all or 3 rounds/3 finals. If I think we need to ammend this we'll do a vote on the day to choose the majortiy method.

The day will be taken seriously by the host club but we aim to make the day friendly and relaxed.

As per the regional meetings there is no pitting from cars/vans on the site. We have room trackside for about 50 drivers and the remainder will be on the grass behind the rostrum. This worked very well and I can see no issues again.

Food van will be on site READY to serve at 8.00am.

Numbers have gone really well and we are now very excited to pull of another great meeting. Please continue to get in touch if you are planning to join us for the day. For those people who might be last minute turn ups, that's no problem, we'll not be turning anybody away.

Is there going to be a model shop attending??

Hi,

Apex Models will have a full shop on site with Esc's/motors etc, Lipo's tyres, wheels etc etc. Anything odd you need please contact them and they will bring to the track.

Yea, that's Gainsy's fault, he told me he had more than one friend, I didn't believe him naturally. All done now, he's on the list :woot:
