Off road winter series

Hi guys

Is there plans to run an indoor off road winter series this year?
Really enjoyed the pairs meeting & was gutted there wasnt a winter series the year before due to the school repairs.

Fingers crossed for this winter.

Dont worry, there are plans for something.

brooksy 04-07-2012 09:24 PM

I'm hoping you do a winter indoor series too. Don't really want to do Worksop again....I need a change!

I've heard good things about your winter series.

Think going indoors is a great idea came to the outdoor to be told no racing and its a long way to come to not race. Whats postcode of school to see how far it is please.....

Wacker1 05-07-2012 11:57 AM

Hi all,

I know that a Bunch of the Hinckley Club Guys(inc myself), would like to see you do an Indoor OffRoad Winter Series again.

.........an Indoor Touring Schumacher Series, like you always did a few years ago, would be great to see too - evenmoreso, now that Ardent is Closing!

Getting fed up of the rain and meetings either being called off or conditions being miserable

I'd be up for some indoor running with the summer we're having

Indeed, same here... I decided to take up RC racing during the worst summer in living memory.

Batteries fully charged, new motor, new shell... And what do I see out the window? Rain... Is there an RC powerboat club nearby?

Thats brill - I'm hoping you will avoid clashing with the Silverstone/Worksop weekends (which happen to be the same) - 13/10/12, 10/11/12, 08/12/12, 05/01/13, 09/02/13, 09/03/13 - If so thats another weekend a month sorted for racing in the dry

Wacker1 26-07-2012 11:21 AM

I'm hoping that you'll decide to Hold the OffRoad & possible OnRoad Schumacher Series on Alternate Sundays, rather than a Saturday........as thats whats currently put me off the Winter Series that Silverstone will be Holding!:(

Any News yet guys?:)

wes j. 03-09-2012 11:17 AM

I believe we are just waiting for the School to confirm the dates. I'm sure Dave or Rob will confirm asap

Robbiejuk 03-09-2012 04:08 PM

Right guys,

We had a bit of a mare with the booking (another club/organisation has booked all the sundays during the winter for a four hour slot) so we have had to move the meetings to a saturday instead of a sunday. Sorry Dean

Anyways here are the confirmed and booked dates that we have got.

01.12.12, 19.01.13, 16.02.13, 23.03.13

Get those dates in your diaries guys!

Classes for 2wd and 4wd Buggies, and 2wd and 4wd shortcourse trucks.

Official thread and information will be on oople soon!
