James 04-05-2008 04:49 PM

Yes very well run, healthy turnout, nice one Alan and Broxtowe! - can we have some big jumps next time though please :)

Some good driving from messrs Sharp & Telboy
& Well done Mr. Waters . . . . .

RSharpy 04-05-2008 05:02 PM

Cheers James, shame about the final going belly up but was very happy with the RB5, felt the business

CharlieF 04-05-2008 06:16 PM

What an excellent regional!! 44 Regional Drivers and 11 in the Open - there hasn't been that many at a Mid East regional since God was a boy. Well done Broxtowe and well done to the drivers who provided some excellent close racing to watch.
A new standard has been set which the other regional clubs will hopefully match.
Regards.

Great days racing, and I think we can officially say that the mid east has entered it's renaissance period  Nice one jim.

telboy 04-05-2008 09:31 PM

Top meeting, well run, thanks guys.

My first ever buggy a-final!!!:woot::thumbsup:

Shame it ended on lap 2  My mistake. hopped over the track marker, then as I came back down, got hit by the nxt car along which wrecked the wishbone.

But I'm well chuffed.

blitzboy 05-05-2008 09:34 AM

well must say broxtowe ,,, well done for a good meeting and you even managed to keep the rain away too well done guys top meeting just need some bumps and lumps and a little less grease but top meeting see you guys at holbeach on the 25 th :woot:

shark 05-05-2008 10:39 AM

Just like to say that in my opinion I think the track had enough features as it was and sometimes ramps and other man made features can spoil the flow of a track , which I think would of been the case at Broxtowe. Just my 10p worth:)

dbizzle5 05-05-2008 10:51 AM

I agree with you Ian, I thought the track was great and definatly made it really close racing. The track really flowed and I agree that adding man made jumps to that particular track would of ruined it.

Videos are nearly all upload to you tube now so I will post the links shortly and they will be put on the ME-OR.co.uk website along with tech chart and results of all the finals. Was not able to video the whole final of any as I had a bit of a mare with charging batteries b4 my final and also on permanent tyre watch so appologies for that but I did do about 2 to 3 minutes of each final and tried to get a bit of all cars.

Thanks to Blitzboy for videoing the A Final for me aswell!!

blitzboy 05-05-2008 11:03 AM

no problem man just hope my video skills were up to your standard well done nathan man you rulled the a keep it going
