Just stick with RW Racing spur gears :)

Click on the go button and as if by magic they appear :)

I think for the price difference I'll do the same, but I can always drill out the holes as per the Durango spur.

Polyoxymethylene.

I deal with it a lot, used in automotive fuel systems as its quite resistant to nasties. Also has "useful" friction characteristics.

Edit:- Google also tells me one of the trademarked names for POM is Delrin, which you may have heard of. Its used in a lot of bushing applications.

One would've thought "Delrin" is a more marketable name to be used in the Durango blurb.

One might think that using a trademarked name might get you in trouble with the company who own the trademark.

I work alot with PTFE which is better known as Teflon.
If we call it Teflon in any of our marketing blurb we have to reference the patent holder DuPont and put a suscript with their logo..... just easier to write PTFE.

Probably the reason Durango has done this... Delrin is a trade name owned by someone else.... possibly even DuPont aswell.

What difference does it make with say a 84 or 89 instead of the standard 87 tooth spur sorry if it's a dumb question:confused::confused:

Weight ditribution can be changed due to moving the motor forward or to the rear (DEX210) or moving the motor into the center line (DEX410)

The same stuff RW make their spurs out of then :wub

and pay 5 pence a pop for royalties.........

about these spurs, not owning a DEX210 but only DEX410 - can the same spur be used between the 2 cars or will there be 2 different part numbers?

Was looking up amainhobbies and a bit puzzled that a similar RW spur is mentioned to be only for DEX210.

Same part number (TD310020) on the original build for both 210 and 410. Should be interchangeable.

They do fit both cars.
However, on the 410 when you run 83 or lower you need to check the smallest pinion you can mesh. The 410 was only ever really designed with one spur gear in mind.
For 13.5T runners the small spurs are a god send, for modified runners, it's not so necessary.
