Thanks, but there is no 4WD there from Lee, unless I am going blind!

Start with Hupo's setup, put slightly heavier oil in the front and you'll be close, I'm sure Lee will post up when he can!

Thanks Dave, currently running 35wt front and rear with Tamiya blue springs. Works OK but lacks bite when accelerating out of tight corners after a jump.

I will look at Hupo's

Dave - he doesn't drive Tamiya cars now - or have I missed something.
Lee is the set up you need - Dave are you at Coventry dude!?

What holes do you use on the bulkheads though as it does no have them on the setup sheet. (for use on astro) 1 being nearest to the shock tower?

MikePimlott 02-09-2010 03:01 PM

Number 1 on the front with 2mm spacer

Number 2 at the rear with 1mm spacer

ramdrive 02-09-2010 03:05 PM

Thanks

He is indeed with Durango now, but his 2009 euro's setup is the b****cks  Think it's on trfracing too! To be honest, I personally prefer Hupo's setup to the one's I've tried to copy off Lee as I prefer the lighter front oil! For ballstud spacers remember if you use kit standard ballstuds take 1mm off all the spacers quoted in setups, if you use the hard hex head studs use the quoted setup spacer amount!!

Tony, I am indeed at Cov both days (if I build my cars in time), looking forward to it! Are you there all weekend?

Dave

The oils that were ran at euros were lighter than the starting setup i think, as the grip was down. I ran .5 deg rear hubs also and found these to help generate rear end.

Yep, definitely going to run 0.5 hubs on slippy indoor surfaces too!
