I prefer not to use self tapers or screw driver heads, i buy stainless steel uk version hex countersunk and also one size hex for the rest.

It was an upgrade and made by another company MMS i believe and was made of nylon. It did away with the brass bushing section and it was very strong. I used one as well but redesigned the front tower to be stronger so is now not really needed for the track. But if you hace the chance and really want it then why not.

I realised I need more than just my original list after looking at the Lazer exploded diagram, so I'll need to figure out what else I need and make a start on this new project

i found 7 bags of LA-23 and 3 bags of LA-22.

I have the LA-22 but I don't have the optional ball bearings for it.

I'll work on the rest of the list of what I need and post it up in case you may have any of it before I hit eBay

Are you going to bid on that, I was planning on bidding on it but would be silly for us to get into a bidding war over it, and I really only want to buy it for the front gearbox which is a bit of a waste really

A little while ago I got some MPP hubs but I noticed they have zero caster i.e. left and right are the same, is that a bad thing???

I also missed out on a Mid gearbox case set :(

Just wondering if there is demand for Mid gearbox repros, i found some one who can make casting/molds for plastic as well as aluminium and he claims the price isnt too expensive.

I'd be interested. A repro of the Lazer front gearbox would come in handy.

Are the battery mounting posts closer together on a ZX-S or ZX-R MKII than they are on a regular lazer ZX? I have a chassis here that is for a ZX-RR or whichever model it is that has the rear bulkhead a little further back and the batter posts are closer together than a ZX which means I can't use any of my battery holders on it.

zx zxr zxrMKII zxrr and zx-s have the same lenght between the holes

they are just angeled on the MKII so they still fit ...

Zxs towers dont fit the zxr. My design does for my zx/zxr.
