The new D4 B10????????????????????????? |
Quote:
Not sure it's in the shops yet, think it's called the D4 b10. basically it's a plastic D4. www.redrc.net/2008/05/hot-bodies-cyclone-d4-sport-2/ |

with weather now changed for the winter maybe it's tents from now on:o with the withdrawal symtoms already kicking in I will be chomping at the bit for racing next week so it had better go rain somewhere else........ |

Steve and I will be running Cat SXs |
Will anyone be running 2wd in the coming weeks? Or is everyone switching to 4wd for the winter?
|
Quote:
There will still be a number of 2WD runners. I'll bring my XXCR along anyway, but I think a number of us move to 4WD when the summer season comes to a close. Overall I reckon the 2WD numbers will still be greater than the 4WD Regards, Mike |
i will be there as its my only car my car is the orange b4
|
Cool, I'm planning to come down on the 15th, i need to get up early to get there, what time should i arrive? it takes about an hour and 10 to get there, maybe quicker earlier in the morning tho. And how will i know if it will defo be on, can i text someone or will anyone log on here early enough to let me know.

Weather isn't looking good all week, so I'm not holding my breath for Sunday. |
PM'd Mikey,
i have a PT, is your system running now? |

For those that are regulars at the club, if you have a PT can you message me the number so I can try and get it added to the timing software. Just trying the software out on my laptop to try and assist Julian. Lighten the load etc.

mmm :( The Cat certainly won't be having heat issues from now on Time to get some mini pins for the Cat |
Quote:
the weather again does not look good :( http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/11 but it still might change, if it is only going to be showers there is a chance we can still get some racing done. ;) I have new body shells on the way to use through the winter and will have various top quality sticker sheets to do designs from. So if people are getting new shells for the winter I will be offering a painting and stickering service at very reasonable prices for people who race at TORCH. They will be a minimum or three colours and will have a racing look to the design. You supply the body shell and I will do the rest. Yellow mini pins work a treat as people who were there two weeks ago will have seen my Tamiya win all but one race............yes a Tamiya! :p |

Last time I ran mini pins I had grip roll in the wet :( Typical Saturday is the good day again |
Quote:
Saturday does look like it will be the better day weather wise but if as it says just showers on the Sunday, it just might be worth taking the chance and getting up and goind to the track and racing inbetween the showers. I suppose we all will have to wait and see on the day.;) |
Quote:
I'll head up there on Sunday morning and see what happens. |
Quote:
the weather is now looking much better for Sunday. http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/11 how is the new timing system looking? |
Quote:
Not sure as I haven't heard from Julian. I'll be fitting my PT anyway and I think whatever happens the loops need to laid, protected and then tested. |
Sunday on the met office site is looking ok now :)
My MRT PT has arrived :D Also tyre choice back up in the air.... |
Quote:
tyres, dry blue mini spike, damp yellow mini spike, wet yellow mini pin - well for me anyway. I will try to get there for half 8. |
Accuweather looks ok. Very wet at the moment :(
|
Well done people for a good days racing all be it pretty cold and yucky.
Can ALL people who are racing at Titchfield please PM what crystals they use and if you are using 2.4GHz the make etc. Also for those that haven't PM'd me and have Personal Transponders can you PM me the numbers please as I am getting the driver database populated. Also the names of the cars you run? I think I have most cars, but I am sure I have missed some. |
Agreed good days racing, think it is going to take all week to get the mud off!
