Dan

I know wht you mean Dan, Mine runs smooth as silk and quiet to boot, the only time i get a bit of belt jump is when i hit full brakes from top end.

I've never run reverse as its not the done thing to reverse into the path of an F1 who's lapping you for the 3rd time.

DanB4 13-11-2009 11:45 PM

and there's nothing more annoying than running like a madman to marshall a car only for it to reverse then shoot off on it's merry way just as you reach it in the middle of the track....I'm sure we've all experienced it!

I had reverse ages ago but it was on a 2 belt car - the Losi XXX-S/XXX-4 single belt design is very innovative but as said previously is designed so the belt is under tension when going forwards - in reverse it gets slack and the tensioning pulley spits the dummy.

I don't think it would be a total surprise. :bored:

Oh dear... You were being serious.

http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34225

I have lost faith in mankind.

DanB4 14-11-2009 07:52 AM

Those are my pics taken on my bed with my servo installed!

Maybe I should buy it back?? How does £856.79 sound Stampy? Fair offer? :o

How much is it worth guys? I know how much I sold it for anyway!

Talk about perseverence.......or not! He didn't even try it! The motor installation must have been too much to handle perhaps.

jhammond 14-11-2009 08:01 AM

They're your photographs!

The cheek. I presume he doesn't actually have your servo? And one can probably conclude that it's probably wrecked now.

I bet he's asked people to contact him via PM so that he can actually ask for silly money! Again; criminal. And to think he'll probably now litter the Losi section of the forum proclaiming his advice is correct and creditable.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

Julius.

Indeed they are my photographs taken on the bed I am lying in right now with my 6 week old baby lying on my chest (great feeling)! I am on my iPod touch and it sometimes changes my words so apologies for any confusion!

The servo is in my cupboard so no it wouldn't come with that servo I can promise you.

I wonder what it does look like now? Wonder if the teeth on the spur still look like that?!

Oh well maybe he doesn't have/know what a camera is or how to upload pics?? Just to make people aware that the car may well not look like that now!

He paid £95 posted, I was quite satisfied with that figure, it also went out with a ton of spares

Nige 14-11-2009 09:23 AM

I can see this becoming yet another Stampy locked thread.....

Aren't you just pulling our chain, come on you've only had it for minutes. People have offered to help if you take it to a club, now you're just giving lots of people ammunition against you if you're being serious about selling it. You don't like the abuse, so why antagonise people. Surely you must have learnt by now!

:wtf:

Col 14-11-2009 10:27 AM

I've pm'd an offer...
