Came down to watch for a couple of Hours with a fellow Non 2/4WD Elec Racer...

Looked Good and reminded me of when i Used to race them 15 ish Years ago...

The Weather changed about 4 times while we were there.

But, perhaps we shouldn't have come, cause now i think i Really Do want to get back into Racing these... :bored:

Is there a Practice days etc down at Kiddy ? Don't live too far away, so would be Really usefull.

Cheers, Russ.

the weather was crap but I really enjoyed it, problem is my lad now wants one!!

Looks like a busy summer Russ ...... Tyro's, 8th-09, TORC and some 2wd!!

Jonesy 08-03-2009 08:25 PM

Has anyone got any 4wd results please? I qualified 5th but left after qualifying as I was feeling like rubbish!

The 4 rounds I did were really enjoyable, it was good to race one class in a no pressure meeting and change things on the CAT, felt like it was really going well and starting to get some good confidence with it

Tom won 4wd from Kev Lee, if i remember correctly . Thanks to the club for running another good meeting. Think the weather was taking the mick all day

Well run meeting as always at Kiddy, was cross at myself for Q2 C final because the car seemed fine, even in the changing conditions. I need more aggressive thumbs I think. Came 2nd to Chris Dyke.

Good drive by Craig Jones for winning the B.. by around half a lap.

Who ordered the Coventry weather to be delivered to Kiddy?

Roll on Easter Sunday!

Gaz_Stanton 11-03-2009 01:16 PM

Yeah, thanks to all involved. Good meeting on a good track, even with the 4 seasons we got thrown at us on the day. Was good to get some track time. :)

Another enjoyable meeting, even with the weather. Kiddy is still my fav circuit in the country.

stuartw 11-03-2009 06:02 PM

Next round of the MAM Series is at Coventry on March 22nd.

Entries to Bill Harlow please.

Rescheduled

Has kiddy been rescheduled for the 12th April if so doesn't this clash with southport easter egg meeting and the Neo's

tyreman 13-03-2009 06:19 PM

Why sould that bother the club, as they don't run nitro, and southport isn't part of this series:confused:

You're right Bri but not all the MAM drivers come from the West Mids. Jamie was just trying to make a point that he (and probably me) will end up at southport and others may race the Neo and effect the numbers.

This can also be said of other meetings throughout the winter anyway so there is an arguement from both sides.

There were at least 15 drivers not local to the West Mids on Sunday.

Apologies to any club who we will conflict with, but this is the only date available.
