Its says that parking is free accross the road from the venue, but i believe its a pay and display car park ?? I thought the parking is £6-£8 per day round that area ?

luniemiester 27-01-2012 08:59 PM

Just been down for a quick look as it's not far. The car park opposite is a pay and display ands it's £6 or so for 12hrs ands it open 24 hrs. I couldn't actually find the venue but I think there's a metal roller door on gibb street - is that the entrance?

styleone 27-01-2012 09:10 PM

parking update

Parking is free all around the venue, no more than 40 yards away. Every side road around the venue is free andvery close. The carpark is sucurity controlled hence the charge, few options for folks though :)

KRob 27-01-2012 09:15 PM

Stuart, can you tell you us where the door to the venue is please.
Will it be clearly signed?

There are so many different buildings I'm sure I won't be the only not sure where it is - especially if we're all trying to hunt out free parking.

HarlowS 27-01-2012 09:37 PM

"Parking for drivers is free in a 24hour security patrolled carpark adjacent to the venue."

Where is this carpark ???

Would anyone be able to tell me if there is a space in 2wd

adon30 27-01-2012 10:02 PM

If the building is still the Space2 warehouse it is in the corner by the bridge on Gibb street.

Go onto google maps. Put the streetmap man on just under the bridge at the junction of gibb st. Go forward into the corner, the road curves to the left but straight ahead and slightly to the right is a large metal gate and you can see a purple sign saying space2.
Well that's were it looks like it is.

There is no parking on Gibb st. (pedestrian street) or Heath Mill lane so you have to go further into the industrial part. Lower trinity street is 1 hour parking.

There should be as I paid my entry for 2wd earlier and I've cancelled (pm'd and asked for a refund if possible)

is it location 1,2,3 or 4? The car park is between 2 and 3

Stuart,

As Toadeh asked - Is it in 1???

Dazzler 27-01-2012 10:12 PM

It is as per the earlier posting, the venue is circled and is next door to the unit marked 1 above. So it's neither 1, 2, 3 or 4.
