Cheers guys, really appreciate your comments ! I think I'm getting the hang of this now :)

Looking sweet Ian, once again you've done a top job!

Some sweet pins in that last Alonso themed shell there Ian  but loving the shell you did for Mark Townsend mate, really a well though out design with the initials :)

Thanks chaps, I'm enjoying the painting, like to try and do stuff that's a bit different.

I would like to say here I'm quite behind with the sudden influx of shells that came in and am gradually working through all shells I have here. However due to other commitments I won't be taking on any new work for the foreseeable future :( anyone who has a shell with me rest assure it will be completed to my usual standard when you reach your place in the queue.

Did you find work?

I'm really impressed with how Ian has worked with me on the updated design of my new shells and how much attention to detail that he has. Anyone wanting a top quality finish to their shells I can guarantee this man is well worth getting in the queue for.

No, unfortunately not, I need to spend time working on my portfolio to get a job, it's not as good as it needs to be and it's more time consuming than the shells. - Incidentally if anyone on here is working in the creative industry and needs a Graphic Designer / Artworker / Photographer / Illustrator or Junior 3D Artist please give me a shout.

Thanks Alec.

Finally got my shell from Simon and I have to echo Alec's point above. Ian is a top painter and the attention to detail is outstanding.

The photos don't do it enough justice.

Can't wait to run it in the mid south regionals!

Mark

Cheers Mark, hope it works well on track. Saw Simon today, you can ignore my last email now :)

New Body Shell

Just received my bodyshell from Ian, post 137.

The picture doesn't do the work justice, for example the red looks simple til you see it, its actually 3 shades of red cleaverly blended, the more I look at it the more I love it.

Ian is an unrestrained genius with paint, and I would recomend his work to anybody considering a profesional paint job.

Just hope my driving improves to match the quality of the car and shell.

Tommy

Very nice work here. I'm sure some of the TORCH racers are needing new paint jobs

eyeayen 02-02-2012 01:44 PM

Cheers for the review Mr Tansley sir, that's ace  really pleased you're happy with it. Hope it looks as good for you on the track, I hear my paint should give you at least another second on your lap time so you'll be fine

Mikey - cheers fella, I just need to get a tenth and get up to TORCH and start racing now...

bluedakar 02-02-2012 01:55 PM

TORCH is the place to be seen at, Great track. Am sure if you came down Ian you will have more work to do.

I just want to say this right now!.

Yesterday Ian came along to Slough (rwmcc). And he told me some of the shells he painted for customers in Slough etc.
I went and had a look at a couple of shells and one word:
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

These shells looks 70% better in the flesh. They look really good on Web too,but its Unbelievable in flesh!.

Ian is one of the greatest painters one here along side others, I would recommend him all the way!.

Oh and good pitting skills

Thanks.

eyeayen 20-02-2012 04:52 PM

Only 70% better in the flesh

I'll post some of the photo's up when I've edited them

Nas 20-02-2012 04:53 PM

Honestly though mate,awesome shells.
The attention to detail is A*.
