Can we have some body off pics of the x7 to keep us interested please.

Darren Boyle 08-06-2013 04:34 PM

The only shots of the X7 are and will be body on at this stage, it is still way too far off release date and also baring in mind some of the ideas and features planned for the car to show any more than has already been seen at present.....

YoungChazz 08-06-2013 07:49 PM

Doc, I think we still have every molded part on the X - 5 except the main chassis itself. I'll bet X Factory U.K. has 'em too.

The_doctor 10-06-2013 11:48 PM

ok thanks also is there any chance that u can hav a look at thickening the mold on the front kick up on the x6 front nose plate as on the weekend after landing off a jump and the car landed flat and the chassie broke in two and cost me the 2nd round of our drivers championship:thumbdown:

YoungChazz 11-06-2013 12:59 AM

In fact we just finished another run of #1002 nose pieces. That part was strengthened right after we first made it, and it is holding up very well in most cases. Often when a nose piece breaks we find improperly installed top deck or the top deck mounting screws loose. The top deck and nose work together to absorb everything on the front end of the car.

That's why we made the nose piece -- you break the nose = cheap & quick instead of the whole chassis = expensive and may as well build a new car.

The_doctor 12-06-2013 11:23 PM

thats good to hear Chazz.... my car broke just as the kick up starts just behind the bumper plate......

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE any news on the 4wd...... no one wants to replie to my Q....

are we going to see it this year????????????

Release is expected in the next few weeks now with the instruction manual, kit bags being constructed and box packaging all being completed at present......

AntH 15-07-2013 07:19 PM

Does the rear tower and inner link mounts fit on the x6 squared or do need to go cubed?
