rcracer 20-12-2007 10:55 PM

exactly ben and the timing system should be set to not count a lap that quick surely

Col 20-12-2007 11:26 PM

Most computers are set up to run minimum lap of 8 seconds, just to cover when running a super short track (like York last weekend - 12-14 second laps) but at a regional you are right - this should be changed! Maybe something to consider for the future...

ben 20-12-2007 11:32 PM

hmm yeh i suppose. And surely the racing should be tracked by the race director who should be watching the lap times?????????:eh?::eh?::eh?::confused::confused:: confused:

marshalls ready

Drivers ready

Was stephen hawking the race director on sunday:D

Col 20-12-2007 11:35 PM

True, but in his defense, it's really hard to keep your eyes on 10 cars at the same time, although the computer does tell you when an car passes the line and it's then easy to see from the results if an "error" has been made.

(ben, isn't it a school night? Get to bed...;))
