In general I'm over the moon with this calender, and am really looking forward to next year. I'm intruiged by Talywain, is it just a grass track on the field next to the dirt track?????

Track I'm most disspaointed not to be visiting is Eastrax as I think it looks great, but good new for those that are going.

WELL, IS THIS IT, OR IS IT NOT.

To answer some of the questions Dan may have about Talywain here goes
the track will be built on the grass area [golf driving range] in front ofthe building in approx 4 acres of ground it is not all flat and has natural contours that may be used in the track, it could feature man made jumps, or it may have purpose built areas and features this will depend on how Chris[millzy] see s things. As far as the venue is concerned the site has acafe and club area so hot food will be available till late , on site tiolets mains water etc for some who camp We may utilize the golf driving bays as pitting areas so mains electricity will be available too For those of you who may not wish to stay on site there are travel lodges etc with in afew milse of the site plus B and Bs etc So there u go come along and see what we have to offer i think you will enjoy it Oh yeah there are motorways in Wales now ,you just got to pay to come in [lol]

ITS THE FRENCH your paying forthe channel tunnel debt[lol] for better pictures of where you will be racing click onto www.nitrotrucks .com photo galley and scroll down to 8/10 event in the summer it shows the track area building etc

Its very odd not having tiverton as the first national i always wanted to go there and race it looked good fun. Never raced on dirt :(

Oh I see it, looks to be an all grass track with some profiles in the landscape by the trees which are less extreme than Telford has.

If the grass can stand up to those trucks in the wet, then it should be good for our buggies.

Ash, Tiverton will no longer be able to hold events at the barn, as the surface is being changed from the dirt/sand, to a rubber chipping type surface... suitable for horses which is what the arena is used for. (Although id be rather pleased if we got news of that work not being done and dirt remains ;) ace track)

ashleyb4 15-12-2007 11:06 PM

Yea i was very disapointed to here about that but i did hear in the summer that someone is building a new inddor dirt track ;) Dont know if its still happening.
