Nortech pins don't snap, its a worthy purchase, its an upgrade from the rollpins on the hexes.

Northy 19-09-2008 02:24 PM

That is as long as they are the right size, we'll try tomorrow night Chris :woot:

No matter where I navigate to, my URL bar always says the above - so I can't link to any specific pages, sorry mate.

Stupid question here, how do you adjust the pinion meshing?

Mossy 19-09-2008 09:40 PM

2 screws fix the motor clamp to the alloy housing underneath the chassis, and a 3rd slots in and tightens on the side. Undo all 3, move and tighten back up.

Even when u change motor the pinion meshing wont be affected as the clamp is already fixed to the correct position. Simple as really, and allows you to change motor and mesh in under 20 seconds lol (yes i have tried it!)

Building mine at the moment. Ive built the diffs then rebuilt them but still feel notchy. Will they smooth out when i run it? The car goes together very well and instruction book is very good. Easy even for me!

MattW 19-09-2008 10:41 PM

You shouldn't really have notchy diffs in all honesty. This design of Schumacher diff has been in use for some time - and with the kit suppplied plates should be very good. I guess it's tough to say for me, as you have the diffs in your hands and i don't!!

chris68nufc 19-09-2008 10:45 PM

Cheers. Im sure that there will be somebody at Worksop next weekend that can have a look for me??? Mine is the Lipo version. Does anybody have a starting setup for Worksop indoors?

Mossy 19-09-2008 11:20 PM

Check the setup thread, ive posted what i will start on there.

Si

RSharpy 19-09-2008 11:40 PM

Si, do you run a diff and fixed center one way on all tracks?
